@BretWeinstein I actually have the answer but it is an answer that no one ever accepts because it’s true and gives nothing to cling to. We have free will and also we do not, this is the only way free will can exist just like any other thing. If all we had were choices, what confronts us with a choice? If our will was completely free, what would be the choices we would ever be confronted with making. The true answer is the universe is deterministic and spontaneous. This is the only way determinism and sponteneauty could exist. It’s so unbelievably simple it is hard to grasp as it leaves nothing to grasp.
