Whether you’re a parent guiding your child to their own success, or a human being who’s trying to define success for themselves, remember the key ingredients of passion, love, and fun.
Be passionate about what you do.
Love what you do.
Have fun while doing it.
Sometimes, we just need to let them have fun and let their spirits guide them to be the best they can possibly be.
In Beyoncé’s case, Tina and I saw her incredible love for the stage and performing at a very young age.
So I smiled and went along with it because it was making her happy.
As parents, we often have to walk the fine line between parent and manager (in my case—literally).
We all want to see our children excel academically, athletically, artistically, socially and so on.
I still remember this picture being taken.
I remember not knowing exactly what Beyoncé was doing in this very moment, but I could see the big smile on her face and could sense that she was having fun.
On this day Nigeria become one of the greatest destroyer of peace, because it was a war to them against the unarmed masses murdered in #LekkiMassacre by their own leaders and security forces. Rest in peace to those HEROES whom life was cut shot on 20/10/2020. Tobi He’s 37.
@celestetwinkles@EmArPibbs@silknymphe 1) the media and trolls haven't toned down their racist attacks on Meghan out of respect to the Queen
2) she's dead. Died peacefully at 96, may we all be so lucky dragging it out inconveniencing everyone is going to make people talk about the living members of the family
You can't tell me there isn't some bitterness or resentment there and the only reason I don't feel sorry for her is because the only people who are uplifting Kate over Meghan are racists and Kate knows it and is content with that 🤷🏾♀️
Meghan has been married before, went to her school of choice, acted and basically just lived a life doing what she wanted and STILL married a prince. Still got your life without following half the restrictions you did. And bonus, Harry is basically her knight in shining armor
She more than likely expected these things & accepted them as how they were but can you really keep doing that without a heavy heart when you see your brother in law & his wife & realize that no apparently certain sacrifices didn't have to be made?
I definitely don't feel sorry for Kate Middleton but I have to wonder what it's like to be groomed to marry a prince & have him humiliate you repeatedly only to watch your brother in law literally give up everything & fight for the comfort & mental health of the wife he adores
Question for DJs: how does it feel when you play a song and everyone starts leaving the dance floor? Like what do you genuinely think in your head at that moment? I’m interested lool
