It has taken 7 years and 10 months, 42 prosecution witnesses, and 81 exhibits presented by the ODPP for justice for Sharon Otieno to finally arrive.

Today, as Sharon's family sat in court to hear the verdict, we were reminded of the immense cost of justice delayed.

While we commend the prosecution, justice must not take nearly a decade. Across Kenya, from young girls to grandmothers, women continue to be lost to a horrific wave of femicide.

Autopsy confirms Albert Ojwang was beaten and killed.

Doctors found:
•His head was badly injured
•His neck was pressed (he may have been strangled~ Kunyongwa)
•He had broken bones in the head
•Bleeding inside the brain
•Bruises on his jaw (both sides)
•Blood in his spine
•Marks of being beaten all over his body

The report is very clear that Albert did not kill himself. He was killed.

Just boarded and found a woman getting a little too comfortable in my assigned window seat. Instead of arguing, I played clueless and asked the flight attendant to help me 'find' my seat. The FA asked to see her ticket, and suddenly it was, 'Oh, is this not C?' 😒 Girl, you know good and well you didn’t pay for a window seat! Shoutout to the flight attendant for handling it, because I am not arguing with anyone today.
