$TSLA is sitting at one of the more interesting pivot points I’ve seen in a while.

In terms of price action, Tesla has broken the daily downtrend and is now consolidating above the $350 area. If buyers can take control again and the bull case takes place, the first major level traders are watching is $400. It’s a major psychological level and exactly the type of round number traders tend to focus on when momentum starts building.

And then $420.69. This stock has a long history of reacting to @elonmusk -related meme levels, and 420.69 is about as Tesla as it gets.

But there is also a fundamental story developing underneath the chart.

Tesla delivered a record 480,126 vehicles in Q2, while energy storage deployments reached 13.5 GWh. Revenue came in around $28.2B, and the company is now generating more than $100B in trailing 12-month revenue.

At the same time, this isn’t a clean fundamental bull story. Automotive gross margins fell to roughly 16.3%, and Tesla burned about $1.1B of free cash flow as spending accelerated on AI infrastructure, robotaxis, batteries and robotics.

That is why the upcoming Cybercab/robotaxi catalyst matters.

If Tesla can convince the market that autonomous driving is moving from an expensive R&D project toward a scalable business, you suddenly have the combination traders love:

Catalyst + improving price action + momentum + attention.

That is what can turn a stock into a true stock in play. Once money starts flowing into a name like Tesla, technical levels can become increasingly important.
And there is another wildcard.

Prediction markets are actively trading the possibility of a future Tesla–SpaceX combination. @Kalshi currently prices roughly a 56–58% probability of a merger before 2028, while @Polymarket puts the probability of an announcement by the end of 2026 at only around 18%, so this is still speculation, not a base case.

Heading into Q4, Tesla and the broader Musk/SpaceX story could become one of the most interesting trades to watch.

For now:
$350 holds → $400 → $420.69
