In our first look at @MensSfp since the summer, we were impressed with the crew of seniors in @big_osacko, @LjHailes2 & Cory Ballard and also the transfer in junior @PrizziCarter, and also returning sophomore @JDesena44 & the emergence of freshman sensation Elijah Murray.

Although it’s a team that has some solid newcomers, the machine that is the Terriers showed plenty in spurts and fought against a tough Jefferson team.

Although they were down by a dozen, they made a valiant fourth quarter come back and got close.

This year’s team is going to be tough & scrappy and won’t back down from any challenges put towards them. Great things are happening in Fresh Meadows, Queens.

A new era of sorts at @MensSfp, where four year starter Oesoemana Sacko (Fairfield) and 2028 Justin DeSena headline a roster who will showcase new faces around them. 2026 G LJ Hailes will run the show. 2027 F Carter Prizzi will man the middle while freshman Eli Murray looks ready to make an impact

Lawrence Hailes, a promising athlete from the Class of 2026 at St. Francis Prep, who is entering his senior year with considerable momentum and exposure, particularly through his involvement with City Rocks.

Lawrence has established himself as a dedicated student-athlete, maintaining a 3.4 GPA throughout his academic career. His commitment to excellence both on and off the court makes him an appealing prospect for college coaches at all levels. With his talent and hard work, we anticipate a breakout year for him.

I believe that Lawrence would be a valuable addition to any program and would greatly benefit from further opportunities to showcase his skills. If you are interested in learning more about him or would like to discuss potential recruitment opportunities, please feel free to reach out.
