We were so excited to find out that our very own Abilene Ginever in 7.7 @NunneryWood WON the whole competition @Routesintolangs with her amazing design in Maori 🤗🎉 congratulations - what a fab achievement! Well done Abi!
Today, whilst questioning, I told a kid to:
‘Tell me why.’
But I sang it Backstreet Boys style.
Half the class replied, in sync, with:
‘Ain’t nothin’ but a heartache…’
Then we continued the lesson as if nothing happened and this is why I became a teacher.

Online quizzes which you can run in live lessons (results in real time) or set as homework. No faff with logins, pupils just need a website address and a numerical code. 👍🏻
Covers most subject areas and both primary and secondary.
Super simple #AFL technique I have been using on #microsoftteams. Works well for true/false questions and is faster to create than a poll! I simply type 'correct' and 'pas correct' as two messages in the chat and students 'like' 👍 a response to choose it. #mfl
#mfltwitterati I saw something about an online resource for reducing cheating in exams/assessments done online. Locks them out if they change tabs and other clever bits, anyone know what I’m talking about?
What I’ve learnt about schools this year is that by the end of today everything will be sorted, routines and systems will be in place and they’ll be cracking on with the job.
Schools, headteachers, school staff. You continue to be amazing. You’ve let nobody down.
Top tip: if you’re asking students to translate a paragraph, turn it into a picture so they can’t copy and paste it into Google translate. Obviously they can still type it all, but the thought of them wasting time doing that is soothing 😂 #mfltwitterati

@clarecaio_ I think they'll get verrrrry little from the £1. I have a spreadsheet with formula I created to produce mock exam grades, it took me a lot of hours of work so I sell it for £6 but I only get £3... £1 doesn't seem worth it to me but I guess it's more than £0!
Our resources can be used to supplement or support teachers' fantastic existing work, or support their future planning for the summer term, look out for our curriculum plans coming out this week #LearnWithOak
