@Aedrareforged I think both are visually interesting, but where they fail for me is that they aren't part of either faction. Unlike all the other races and allied races, including Dracthyr, they are part of neither horde nor alliance and so all Earthen and Haranir characters just kinda... exist
@BaalTheWarlock I don't think it's that deep.
Really I don't think it's any deeper than "Woman = Woke = Bad". Especially since it's a woman that doesn't look like an underage Japanese sex doll.
I mentioned this in Discord, but Lorewalking would be PERFECT for letting us replay removed questlines.
Darkspear Rebellion, Battle for Undercity, Onyxia's Revelation, Battle for Echo Isles, Battle for Gnomeregan, etc
@that_kind_oforc I feel like they did say it out loud, at least in the stay a while and listen's after resoring the "dawnwell"
they even had romath ask what Xal could probably want with an army of void monstrosities at the heart of the world.
@mountainkinggav Well they haven't joined horde or alliance, there is no narrative reason your Haranir is welcome in stormwind but not in OG (or vice versa), so they don't need racial leaders for the individual factions, they just have their council. The same is true for the Earthen btw.
@kalaelizabeth The books are canon to the books, the show is canon to the show, not sure what you mean with that question tbh.
The show follows the same rough story as the books, but changes a lot of details. A lot of time for the better imho.
@Sakyomum i mean, sure they put him into the warfront, but really the "mystery" had been solved by cata already.
It's literally just a random old god servant that the twilight hammer tried to bring back and we prevented during Darkshore leveling.
@Skoll_Shorties I hope we can help the Drakkari connect to their Loa again, just like we helped the Amani.
It's probably gonna be a bit harder, seeing how the Drakkari went even further in their despair, but I would still wish for them all to become whole again.
@Skoll_Shorties I think it's pretty much unrecognizable. And I don't think this is a bad thing, nor a good thing. It simply is.
But if Quel'danas wasn't there, and i didn't know better, I would've thought it was a different belven city.
Eversong is definitely more faithful.
How much i'd love to be excited about this. But so far it just looks like 3-4 random Mando episodes with with no conetctive tissue besides Sigourney Weaver, and no indication of an overarching story even existing.
We don't even know who or what the villain is supposed to be๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
