Fredrick Nietzsche wrote a lot about man and his desires, shadows and dreams.
He also wrote about PLEASURE.
However, he did not tell men to kill their desires. He told them to command them.
A drive you cannot control does not stay quiet. It grows, it takes the throne, and soon it will be giving you orders while you obey.
Lust and greed promise you power and hand you a leash into slavery. Example:
• Prostitution
• Porn
• Masturbation
Every man ruled by his appetites is owned by whoever controls them.
Nietzsche called the highest act self-overcoming: the man who masters himself is the only one no one else can master.
Rule the pleasure, or the pleasure will rule you.

Six months. Five Money skills. No excuses.
1. Track every shilling.
2. Mshwari is not a savings plan.
3. Budget before the month starts, not after available balance starts to dwindle.
4. Build an emergency fund. Sh 500 a week becomes Sh 13,000 by December.
5. Understand compound interest before you understand crypto.
Read one payslip line you've been ignoring. Deductions are not decoration.
Master these five. Everything else is decoration too.
If you are planning to build a house in your rural village,
Do the following:
• Open a bank account. Call it "Project Development Account 2026."
• Write a plan. Use the Triple Constraint Theory in Project Management: BUDGET, TIME and SCOPE.
• Save 50% equivalent of your rent in the account, monthly for 15 months, eg, if your rent is 10,000, then, save 5,000 in that account every month.
• If you can't raise 50% equivalent of your rent to save, then you are living beyond your means. Look for a cheaper house.
• Get an architect and a draughtsman to design a house.
• Do research, consult, read about building and construction online. Travel beyond your comfort.
• Get a Quantity Surveyor to do feasibility and the cost of the project.
• At month 15, draw a budget and begin buying material for construction, eg Sand, Ballast, Stones and timber. Stick to the budget.
• At month 18, start building.
• Get a professional mason licensed by the National Construction Authority. Be present. Supervision by phone calls is disastrous.
• Be hands-on. Learn to do the masonry work alongside the mason. Mix the ballast. Lay the bricks. Be part of the team.
• Create a rapport and good relationship with a hardware. Let this hardware be the only place you will buy construction material.
• Don't live in government houses. Don't buy the so called "affordable houses."
Build your house, to your preference and taste.
Therefore, if you are intending to build, and you start planning today, then you should be building your house in 2026 March.
It is not far.
Start today.
Be patient.
Start.

3 days ago, I wrote a post about the dejection I observe in men each morning they leave their houses for work.
Today, I was just tagged in a story about a pilot who was disinherited by his ex-wife.
Despite putting so much effort into his marriage, being there for his family, and bequeathing his wealth to them, he has lost everything.
He is now homeless.
3 years ago, when I wrote here on X that a man must build his private citadel where he can disappear silently and secretly to find solitude and singularity, I was trolled, mocked, insulted, and berated for encouraging men to abandon their wives.
Here is the thing,
Nobody cares about you, the man.
Not even me, Amerix.
The only person who cares for you is YOU.
You either bite the bullet and start building your retirement bunker, or continue neglecting yourself and suffer the consequences of your ignorance.

That reflects a central teaching from Matthew 6:33 — “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.” In that context, the focus is not only on belief, but on aligning priorities, attitudes, and actions with God’s way of living.
What often stands out in Jesus’ teachings is how countercultural they can feel. Loving enemies, forgiving people who hurt you, showing mercy instead of retaliation—those ideas go against many natural human instincts. That’s why the “Kingdom” is often described as a different way of thinking and living, not just a religious label.
There was a man who believed success in life mainly came from protecting himself, getting even, and always putting his own interests first. At first, that mindset seemed practical. But over time, bitterness and constant conflict started draining his peace.
Later, he began reflecting more seriously on teachings about forgiveness, humility, and treating people differently than they deserved. It felt unnatural at first, even weak. But as he slowly practiced those things, he noticed something unexpected: his inner life became calmer, his relationships healthier, and his decisions less driven by anger.
That didn’t mean people never hurt him again. But it changed how he responded—and that changed the direction of his life over time.
The core idea behind your statement is this:
in Christian teaching, seeking God’s Kingdom means learning to live by values that often go against instinct, but are believed to lead toward deeper transformation and peace.
There are two types of PhD:
1. Doctor of Philosophy.
2. Persistence, Hunger & Determination.
Both will teach you a lot about philosophy but,
One will lead you to academic freedom, the other will lead you to financial freedom.
No school will tell you this.

I want today to open your eyes to one of the most powerful money-making opportunities in the construction space right now. The cabro paving blocks.
These are the blocks you see on walkways, parking lots, estates, petrol stations, malls and almost everywhere.
This is not just a business, this is a cash-flow machine if you do it right.
First, understand demand. Every estate being built, every road upgrade, every apartment, every commercial space needs cabro. Counties are pushing for better walkways, private developers want modern finishes, and cabro is now replacing rough concrete in many places.
This demand is not going down anytime soon.
Now let’s get into how you actually make money.
Start by setting up a small production yard. You don’t need a huge space; just enough for production, curing, and storage.
Then buy a cabro making machine. A good manual or semi-automatic machine will cost you about Ksh 120,000–250,000 depending on capacity and quality. This is your main investment, and it serves you for years.
Next, raw materials:
Cement
Quarry dust (or sand)
Ballast
Water
Coloring (optional, for red, grey, etc.)
Now let’s break production cost.
One bag of cement costs about Ksh 750–800. With proper mixing, one bag can produce around 35–40 cabro pieces depending on thickness and design.
Let’s calculate using 40 pieces:
Cement per piece = about Ksh 20
Add quarry dust, ballast, labor, and water = about Ksh 20–25 per piece
Total cost per cabro ≈ Ksh 40–45
Now selling price:
One cabro piece sells at Ksh 80–100 depending on design, thickness, and location.
Let’s use Ksh 90:
Selling price = Ksh 90
Cost = Ksh 45
Profit per piece = Ksh 45
Now this is where things get serious.
If you produce just 1,000 cabro pieces per day:
1,000 × Ksh 45 = Ksh 45,000 per day
In one month (26 working days):
Ksh 45,000 × 26 = Ksh 1,170,000
Now remove expenses like labor, transport, breakages and you still comfortably remain with Ksh 700,000+ per month.
One standard residential compound can take 3,000–6,000 cabro pieces.
That’s one client.
If you supply:
5,000 pieces × Ksh 45 profit = Ksh 225,000 from one job
Now imagine doing just 4 such jobs in a month:
Ksh 225,000 × 4 = Ksh 900,000
And that’s not even including walkways, petrol stations, schools, or government projects which take tens of thousands of pieces.
You can even go a step further and offer installation services.
That’s where even more money is. You supply cabro and charge for laying per square meter and double income stream from the same client.
The secret is simple:
Maintain high quality (strong, well-cured cabro)
Build relationships with contractors and developers
Be consistent with supply
Reinvest and scale quickly
This is how people in construction quietly become millionaires.
Not by building houses, but by supplying what every builder needs.
Cabro business is not a side hustle. If you treat it seriously, it can turn into a multi-million shilling enterprise within a very short time..
Take the Risk or end up Poor.

Some people earn well their entire lives, but live like slaves.
They’ve mastered making money, but that’s where it ends.
Financial freedom is a different game:
1. Know how to make money
2. Know how to protect it from being taken
3. Know how to keep it
4. Know how to make it work for you
If you don’t learn about money, you’ll spend your life working: enriching your boss, paying the government, feeding the bank, funding your landlord… and then it ends.
One day, you’ll pause and ask:
“Is this what life is about?
To be born, work your entire life, and die?”
That question comes too late for most.
Learn the game early.
The Indispensable Skillset
This is Farmer's Most Valuable Asset.
While seeds, fertilizers, and proper equipment are crucial for a farm's productivity, a farmer's skillset is an equally vital, if not more important, input.
Oftentimes, skilled labor is sought only when unforeseen circumstances arise. However, a proactive approach that prioritizes acquiring and developing farm skills from the outset is essential for long-term success.
Equipping oneself with the necessary farm skills allows farmers to make informed decisions, manage their land and resources effectively, and anticipate potential problems. From planting and crop maintenance to harvesting and business operations, a strong skillset empowers farmers to tackle challenges and adapt to changing conditions.
Investing in farm skills fosters a sense of self-reliance and reduces dependence on external labor, particularly during critical periods. This not only translates to cost savings but also ensures greater control over the farming process and the quality of the produce.
By viewing farm skills as an essential input, alongside seeds and fertilizers, farmers can approach their agricultural journey with a more empowered and strategic perspective. This proactive approach paves the way for a flourishing farm that thrives not just in spite of challenges, but because of the knowledge and skills that have been cultivated.
