"Gambling is morally wrong. Gambling is built on the desire to obtain something for nothing. Its structure requires that any gain comes at other's expense. It is hard to reconcile that with the commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves."

The milestone was announced this week as the number of young women serving as full-time missionaries — over 30,000 — became the largest cohort of sister missionaries ever in the Church’s history.
These missionaries serve in more than 500 missions around the world, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, serving in local communities and inviting others to come unto Christ.

The Offensive Coordinator for Utah Tech is in my ward here in St George. He made it on time for 9 o’clock church this morning. What a freaking stud. Late night, and every reason to sleep in this morning, but he showed up, and on time.
The feeling I had as I walked through the gates of temple square on this day is one I will never forget. It caught me completely off guard— it was palpable and unmistakable. The Spirit was so strong. I have been on these temple grounds hundreds of times throughout my life, but this day was different.
The thought that kept coming to me was that the Spirit will not be denied in this sacred space.
My original impression has not changed— I believe this open house is going to change the lives of so many people!
