@LarrabeeSamuel @JennLStevens It will be interesting to see how businesses will adapt to the large increase in online shopping. More importantly, I wonder how the supply chains for them will change, as you mentioned in the pick-up services. #LWU482Strat#ICMKTG
@JennLStevens 1. My future buying patterns I would say are temporary. Everything we need to buy rn is online, and I prefer in-store. Perhaps I'm old-fashioned? π
2. I shared this with Mom, and she agreed. Although she might be willing to wait longer b4 going out again. #ICMKTG#LWU482Strat
@Blastoffmax @LaurelAynne@Wendys I think Wendy's made a good decision with the branded crossword. Keeping the business still going through something like that is brilliant. Wendy's is known for its funny Twitter use too, so I think they'll be okay. #ICMKTG#LWU482Strat
@LaurelAynne 1. I heard that aquariums use webcams for animals (otters, penguins, etc.) Doesn't beat going to the aquarium itself ofc, but it's something!
2. It's inspired me to travel more and see more sites. I realize that I don't travel & sightsee as much as I should. #ICMKTG#LWU482STRAT
@Slusher_S@AlexaKaye3 That is an excellent point. Also, people have been losing their jobs during this time, so employee appreciation is more important than ever IMO.
#LWU482Strat#ICMKTG
@AlexaKaye3 1. Social media is a way to still be in touch with followers and supporters to update people daily on offers or general updates.
2. One example near me is the restaurant El Jinete. They have been active on social media and offering curbside carryout. #LWU482Strat#ICMKTG
@AbbiWhited@Capitaldemarca I agree! I myself use a Roku streaming device to watch Netflix. I wonder if Netflix can somehow combine traditional TV/movie streaming w/ podcasts. Who knows?
#LWU482STRAT#ICMKTG
@Capitaldemarca @JennLStevens 1. I think they will replace both in advertising. I know many people who play podcasts while driving in their cars.
2. I rarely listen to podcasts, but I won't deny their importance. For example, a food company could play a podcast during peak eating times. #ICMKTG#LWU482STRAT
@c_felix97 @JennLStevens Pizza Hut perfume? I've never heard of that before! Although it would be cool to own one just for showing off, I don't think I would personally use it, especially if it smells like cheese after a while. #ICKMKTG#LWU482STRAT
@JennLStevens 1. I think this is a fad idea, yet a good one. As others said, it brings brand awareness to the company.
2. Definitely the Popeyes chicken sandwich wars between Popeyes & ChickFilA. Promoting that sandwich started a chicken war.

@Slusher_S @AlexKrallman Data collection/privacy concerns of the public are an issue in today's digital age, but Europe has the GDPR in place to help w/ this. Strangely, the U.S. has no federal regulations on data collections of minors (as of yet).

@AlexKrallman 2. I do not know TikTok, nor do I plan to use it. That said, I think companies should use it for products/services designed for younger audiences in the short-term (toy brands? (etc)). Long-term is too risky bc it might be a fad platform.
#ICMKTG#LWU482Strat
@AlexKrallman I think interest will fade in TikTok over time. The social media market is very saturated(Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) It's hard to stand out against other companies IMO.

@kaityam_@LaurelAynne Planters hit the ball out of the park w/ this. It wasn't just an ad, but it told a story too, which was an innovative way to advertise. A funny & memorable story IMO.
#ICMKTG#LWU482Strat
@LaurelAynne 1. Brands stand out by making ads have off-the-wall humor. I remember ads from my childhood bc they're odd & stood out.
2. My fav? Rocket Mortgage's Jason Mamoa ad. Funny to see self-deprecating humor, shows he isn't too serious. #LWU482Strat#ICMKTG
