@BigBro_21@Mr_Sempere@SwingSkill 1. None of them have been super high draft picks.
2. The point was that you can control even less than you could before. Making it significantly harder to get 3 top 5 picks like the example.
@itsnotbatman@Betsycashmoney@theblockspot You’re feeding into her point. Hindsight is pretty much exactly what she means. They picked the wrong guys and because they weren’t as good as other guys they lost more. Leading to better picks.
@Blue2Ballers@KevinF3394 They won 68 games and a title. Then came back and won 64 and lost to a team that won 62 with a 7’6 alien while also unhealthy.
What about that is NOT a juggernaut? Spurs just are one too.
@Mr_Sempere@SwingSkill You can control how bad you are to move up in the lottery (still luck involved), you cannot control how bad or good other teams are. So you’re suggesting a team get lucky once with theirs and 2 other times with random teams they need to trade picks with? Or just trade up easily?
@bballstrategy@CoreyDeMoss For sure. But San Antonio also has to do that with a fully healthy Thunder squad, it’s just a different series. I just think we’re jumping to conclusions that the spurs will be better than the Thunder next year because of this win. Thunder could be better too!
@SplashBridges It’s insane. They’re just assuming Steph castle will or is always better than a second team all nba player lol. Maybe he will be, but wild jump to that conclusion right this second.
