@MWCrispyRoll@crimkadid@Steve_Sailer@kitten_beloved France & Spain for sure had lots of ball games. For example: Boules remains popular in rural France & Indochina. Longue Paume was Olympic event in Paris 1900 olympics. Pelota in Spain has professional leagues. Lacrosse is of north American native origin (tho codified by Anglos)
@JOttoPohl1@phl43 The most acclaimed works of literature are available to me for free, accessable in seconds online. It isn't economic pressure that stops me from reading Don Quixote or whatever rather than scroll twitter.
@RichardShoeman@WWF11215@RWApodcast You are literally retarded. That is not the original video, it is edited video omitting the embarrassing incident that occurred beforehand.
@WWF11215@RWApodcast It's not. I guessed it was, too, but easy to find the original video. Eventually the king did stop swerving Zelensky's handshake after a clearly pissed-off Z sticks his hand out again and says something.
@literalbanana For sure, referencing the ASCO presentation rather than the study is not the best, assuming the manuscript was written after study publication. But if it's real, it doesn't matter if they used Ask Jeeves or consulted a clairvoyant to find it tbh.
@Alioliakbar16R@zulways Pretty sure everywhere in Europe aspirin/paracetamol/ibuprofn are available otc, I'm not sure what op means. Maybe refers to stricter restrictions to avoid misuse than they were used to in US, so different formulations of cough syrup available OTC or caps on amount sold per visit
@Africatake42480@ExamplePrime@k_aesar1 In the past there were uranium mines on the modern Germany - Czech Republic border, I think they have all shut now but for a time they were a significant proportion of world uranium extraction. Historically they were source for WW2 Germany and post-war USSR nuke program uranium.
@ExamplePrime@k_aesar1 Manhattan project took 3 years for USA led team to get a working bomb, presumably would take less for WW2 Europe if they had that knowledge. But SA with existing nuclear facilities, 2020s technology, and having done it before would be able to do it quicker I think.
@GerardAraud Colombia didn't stop elections when up to 40% of state territory was occupied by FARC. Republic of China local elections 1950 would count from their point of view. Really Korea is the only democratic country that has ever been a comparable military situation to Ukraine since WW1.
@Steve_Sailer@theojaffee I know what you mean, but looking at sunrise & sunset dates was surprised to see that Miami actually has a few more days per year > exactly 12h than London, I expected it to be equal.
@akarlin I don't know of any other election in the world that has individual polling booth results for national elections. In isolation it doesn't seem implausible that the two biggest parties together got all 140 votes in one particular street in one particular neighbourhood.
@alosthighway0@MacaesBruno@paulg Bruno has repeatedly claimed Cofnas has only one publication, which isn't true. I think he was tricked by a leftist blog rather than is acting dishonestly, though he is responsible for taking an obviously dishonest blog seriously and spreading to thousands of people online.
@Geopolitics_pro@FanKajaJuvan@OliverMolander Yes, they were created in eastern Europe during cold war. Apparently USSR had similar competitions before that. I imagine the culture/history of taking these events seriously has been inherited from those times, whatever other unique positive characteristics Baltic education has.
@Geopolitics_pro@FanKajaJuvan@OliverMolander Approx ~half of the competitors get medals, though big and small countries only get to send the same number of participants. Per capita medals worthless metric here. These competitions were historically for communist bloc- so small ex-communists participate & dominate that metric
