@PhilipSteart@DoctorsVoteUK@Leic_hospital <50% are striking. The strikers arent informing their employers who are striking (as is their right) should the trust just ignore the other 50%? Whats wrong with putting the shift out?
@SteveEaton39415@implausibleblog Remember Tories and every right wing pundit critizing that payment because the Doctors would strike the following year. But no, Labour rightly listened to the recommendations and added 4% on top. Nobody is saying that the profession isn't deserving of more. Just not this year.
@MurrayJohn2000@penninehiker@DrOKaneAgain@BMAResidents Took you 14 years of tories bringing your profession down. Then, finally, a Labour party who cares about the NHS gives you 50% of the journey back, and in less than a year, an inflation beating pay-rise is just not enough. Labour is scrounging for finances. Country can't afford.
@PoliticsJOE_UK Regardless of what you think about this new party. Corbyn will be 80 years old. He will not be the leader heading into the election. And unless a strong personality shows up, all this will do is harm greens, LD and labour. Not that this new party shouldn't exist.
@BMAResidents@RossNieuwoudt Pity you didn't kick off during 14 years of Tory rule isn't it? Hardly a secret that the snowball effect of NHS underfunding wouldn't have an impact is it? Now you expect Labour to sort out all the problems within a year? For educated folk you seem remarkably naive.
@cmwilliams99@Heccles94@Ruthyrambles The majority of the public is not anti-strike. You ask when? Next year would be better than this year. The government is only a year in and is unable to do anything they want due to fiscal conditions. Doctors have sat by and let their salarys erode under the Tories.
@AyoCaesar Reminder jews and travellers weren't always considered "white" and the Irish were not welcome just as much. I agree with abotts underlying point. But she said it stupidly now and even stupider before.
@OliDugmore@NewStatesman Aren't those quotes from Israel? Doesn't seem like white washing when you read the articles that lay out the facts. But it's the readers' choice to decide if Israel is lying or telling the truth. Not the media who don't know one way or another. Personaly I dont, but they could be
@LurcherRed@sales_belinda The government has to do cost saving policies that it does not want to do whilst trying to promote growth. I, and i bet starmer, do not like these policies. But feel tax increases "could" cause a decrease in total tax reciepts. The UK is in the shit because of Tories.
@rheumipainmask @dstephenh99 @iDrSunny You are sooooo lost in your grift. The Tories and Reform are telling Labour that it was a mistake to give the BMA anything. They brought in anti-striking legislation. Pretending that they are the same leads to a Reform win. Something you clearly don't care about.
@rheumipainmask @dstephenh99 @iDrSunny Fully aware. Wes has reduced dr's shortfall by 50% in Labours first year. Focusing investment into NHS and willing to both talk and meet with Unions whenever. That is sooo opposed to Torys who dont care and Reform who want to strip the NHS. I know youve left. But dont be stupid.
