@lavellansbootay Thought I was the only one who really doesn't want a da5 after this...I would rather have a new studio pick it up in 20 years and just make something completely new but in the same universe at this point.
When Hillary lost, she conceded graciously and then went for a walk in the woods.
When Kamala lost, she conceded graciously and then got back work as our VP.
When Trump lost, he wouldn’t concede and then incited a deadly attack on our Capitol.
But yes, tell me more about how women are “too emotional” to lead, won’t you.
@yeahokaywut @livinlargetimbo This though. I literally went into the game with low expectations already, and I kept being like "okay now I'm definitely gonna get a new romance scene" after major plot points and would get NOTHING. The fault there is not on me as a player but the writing.
@livinlargetimbo Genuinely disappointed yeah. It just didn't have a lot of content or direction imo, even compared to the other romances in this game but definitely not compared to the previous games. I didn't cook up expectations. I was disappointed over and over.
It struck me like a lightning: if I wasn't a solavellan, DAV would fucking destroy me.
If my canon Inq was someone else...I have all the compassion to people who waited 10 years for direct sequel and none (n o n e) of DAI choices had real impact.
The Solavellan ending was probably the only source of fulfillment I got out of this game, but even it feels tainted by everything else wrong with it. I just...need to separate the rest of this game from what dragon age was and always meant to me before. (5) #datvcritical
I've decided after I finish my second datv playthrough, I'm gonna uninstall and probably not touch the game again if ever. After a month of processing... everything about it just felt so lackluster and flat. It destroyed lore and beauty from prior games. #datvcritical#datv (1)
Rook as a main character is just...I feel no sense of why they are the main character. Varric *says* why he picked them, but like so much else in this game, we just have to take it for granted rather than ever see it really earned. (4) #datvgcritical
It's an unpopular opinion but the romances sucked. I still like Lucanis but I feel that I was let down by the romance from the start. I don't want to have to come up with headcanons and justifications to why it had so little content - it factually did. (3) #datvcritical
The writing was so all over the place. Companions felt flat, shallow, 2 dimensional at best with what was presented and you have to do mental gymnastics just to give them more life and personality. Some are stronger than others, but I still feel like this holds true. (3)
This will never be not funny.
Btw, this is the picture of him, released in summer 2014, tat made me hope he would have romance. Don’t ask questions.
You think he is hot in Veilguard. I think he was hot since day one.
We are not the same 🥸
Being mad at The Witcher 4 starring Ciri as a Witcher has got to be the funniest way of exposing that you never played these games.
The most common and popular ending of Witchet 3 is Geralt retiring and Ciri becoming a Witcher, she’s even using this sword in the trailer!
