@jasoneccles @BBCScotlandNews Prior to there being free prescriptions I had chronic illness and needed a lot of medication. It didn’t meet the criteria of being free so it cost me a lot of money. Also it is per item. I was on 7 different medication. That’s £70 a month through no fault of my own

@jasoneccles @BBCScotlandNews But we get free prescriptions, baby boxes and free sanitary ware etc. I certainly don’t mind paying a little more tax for these things that help some of the most vulnerable.
