@HonMachakaire We commend His Excellency for the elevation of this distinguished cadre. We wish the General all the best in his next assignment, confident it will further steer national development.
Introducing @StakeStreet_ × Shona Prince Technologies
We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership between StakeStreet and Shona Prince Technologies, focused on expanding access to global digital platforms across Africa, starting with Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
What is StakeStreet?
StakeStreet is a mobile-first voucher distribution platform that enables individuals to issue digital vouchers from their phones, giving customers simple, local access to a wide range of online platforms and services without the need for a bank account, debit/ credit card!
At its core, StakeStreet transforms everyday locations into points of digital access, bridging the gap between local communities and global platforms.
What can StakeStreet enable?
Through a single interface, StakeStreet supports multiple high-demand categories:
1. Digital asset access vouchers – enabling participation in global digital ecosystems e.g. You can buy Bitcoin, USDT or any other cryptocurrencies with cash or mobile money.
2. xStocks vouchers – simplifying access to international equities and market exposure. You can buy xStocks like Nvidia, or Tesla with cash!
3. Prediction-based platform vouchers – allowing users to engage with outcome-driven platforms tied to real-world events. Is the price of Gold or Oil going up in an hour? Create a voucher or buy one & cash out.
4. iGaming vouchers – supporting access to regulated online entertainment platforms
All delivered through a simple voucher model, designed for accessibility in markets where traditional onboarding and payments can be limiting.
Across many African markets:
Payment infrastructure remains fragmented
Access to global platforms is often complex
Large portions of the population operate in cash-based environments
Yet demand for digital participation is growing rapidly.
StakeStreet addresses this by creating a local distribution layer, where:
Customers can access platforms through vouchers
Agents can operate with minimal setup using just a mobile device
Transactions can happen simply, quickly, and locally
Through this partnership, Shona Prince Technologies provides the physical distribution infrastructure:
1. Retail stores across key markets
2. Onboarding points for new agents
3. A trusted, local presence within communities
This enables StakeStreet to scale efficiently by embedding directly into existing, high-traffic environments.
Together, StakeStreet and Shona Prince Technologies are enabling:
1. Last-mile access to global digital platforms
2. A new category of mobile-first agents
3. A scalable bridge between cash economies and digital services
Individuals can now visit a Shona Prince Technologies store, register, and begin operating as StakeStreet agents, issuing vouchers and serving demand within their communities.
This partnership is about more than distribution.
It’s about redefining how access to digital platforms is delivered in emerging markets.
A model that is:
Local in execution
Global in reach
Scalable by design
We’re just getting started!
@TembaMliswa Ministers serve at the President’s pleasure, guided by duty to Zimbabwe, not social media noise. Personal attacks don’t erase the work being done.
Good evening Uncle Temba. I hope you had a good day. It appears you’ve been quite busy 😅. Uncle, your remarks are noted, though they are clearly premised on misrepresentation, selective interpretation and a regrettable disregard for the facts.
As an appointee of His Excellency, the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF, I operate strictly within the confines and boundaries of that appointment, guided by duty, discipline and respect for established structures. My role, and indeed that of the Youth League, is not to engage in reactionary theatrics or social media grandstanding, but to contribute meaningfully to national development and the realisation of Vision 2030.
Uncle Temba, it is unfortunate that in an apparent pursuit of relevance and social media traction, you have chosen to personalise issues and cast aspersions where none are warranted. In doing so, you do not diminish the work being done, you merely expose a lack of depth and a limited appreciation of the evolving nature of leadership and governance in the Second Republic.
Comparisons to past political eras are misplaced. The politics of yesterday cannot be imposed on the present. His Excellency has consistently called for unity, productivity and responsible leadership that builds rather than divides. The Youth League has taken this directive seriously, focusing on empowerment, skills development and addressing real challenges affecting young people, rather than engaging in noise that yields no progress.
Leadership is not measured by how loudly one speaks or how quickly one reacts, but by the impact of their work and the stability they help preserve. The expectation that leadership must be performative in order to be effective is outdated and misguided.
It is also important to emphasise that discipline within the party remains paramount. Matters of concern are addressed through proper channels, not through public outbursts that risk undermining cohesion and collective progress. Those who genuinely respect the One Centre of Power understand this principle and act accordingly.
My dear Uncle, I would therefore encourage you to engage with issues in a constructive and informed manner, in line with the values and direction set by His Excellency. Zimbabwe demands seriousness, focus and unity of purpose. Those who choose noise over substance must be prepared for their words to be weighed against their contribution. Leadership is demonstrated through work, discipline and results, not commentary. The nation is moving forward, and it will not be distracted by those who mistake provocation for purpose.
Whichever way you may regard yourself in relation to me, whether as an elder or otherwise, I do not have the inclination to engage in personal exchanges with you or those behind this. I was raised to respect my elders and I intend to uphold that value with dignity.
I reckon I do business in more African countries than the average person, and I've learned to ignore such posts as they reflect poorly on the ground.
In short, if you think you're gonna make 6x more returns, even 2x more returns in Botswana than Zimbabwe because you saw a video on X, you're irredeemably screwed.
The average Zimbabwean consumer spends far much more in USD without relying on debt. It's an absurdly cash rich economy. Zimbabwe, DRC etc have extremely large & informal economies which are often completely ignored in these 'wealth statistics'.
There's a lot of bs propaganda out there, and you shouldn't fall for these misleading ramblings, especially in regards to outdated economic measurements like GDP. Any person with common sense can't compare Gaborone to Harare. The visual evidence is clear, Harare represents a much bigger economy. This is like those folks who say China doesn't actually have 1.5B people.
Saying X country, is 6x richer than Y country requires a lot of evidence & market experience in both places not things you read on the internet. Markets humble you. There are countries with great PR but very little business.
Africa is extremely complex and there are no one size fit all narratives. It's beyond dangerous to keep perpetuating lazy perspectives. It's why the Chinese & Indian businesses that come to Africa become obscenely wealthy, they ignore the noise & go straight for the bread.
This Christmas, Distance Doesn't Disconnect Us! Merry Christmas 🎄and wishing you all a Happy New Year from Shona Prince Technologies, Authorized Starlink Retailer.
We opened the first Shona Prince Technologies retail branch around this time last year in Maputo 🇲🇿 with only 2 staff members. I could barely speak Portuguese and was unfamiliar with the environment, but I believed the model of building a purely specialized Starlink Retail store was worth building & spend months at it.
There are weeks I spent in the hot, humid & unforgiving weather at Rossano Garcia border trying to get our shipments in the country. Those initial shipments were all the capital I had, and if things had gone sideways, I would have tanked. I personally escorted trucks & the drivers, ensuring this valuable cargo made it's way to Matola, where several contract workers would assist us offloading in the middle of the night when it was cooler, and 'safer', I was extremely paranoid about everything.
Last week, I was back in Maputo after several months away, and decided to take the local team members to dinner, to appreciate them for their work. 30 full time staff members showed up lol!
To be honest, I shouldn't have been surprised. Over the past 12 months, we've scaled to 7 countries, and 154 staff members across the region. We have experienced every possible challenge you can imagine in growing this business, some challenges are too painful to even describe here.
What I'm most proud of however, is watching people's lives change through our work. For some employees, Shona is their first job ever, and they love it! Some have furthered their education, gotten married, moved cities & so much more all in what seems to be a flash in time. This what is truly worth fighting for in business, and what I defend daily to ensure it continues to thrive, regardless of what is thrown at us.
Just a boy from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 Standing at SpaceX HQ, where the dream of global connectivity takes flight!
As Shona Prince Technologies, Authorized Starlink Retailer, we’re turning that dream into reality across Africa one Starlink at a time, helping humanity become multiplanetary

Most men have to eat dirt in silence before they ever see a win.
Long nights, doubt, and a vision no one else sees. You’ll be called crazy until you prove them wrong.
You’ll second-guess everything. You’ll wonder if it’s worth it. But you won’t stop. Pressure either breaks you or builds you.
That’s the difference.
The pain you're feeling isn’t wasted. It’s part of the process. You just haven’t hit the other side yet.
Hold the line. What’s coming makes the struggle make sense.
