@RealYeyoZa I took a Gender and Society class in ~2005, and though the female professor was sane, the TAs and probably 80% of the 95% female students in the class made this argument and all ran with it, if not for a conspiracy of males to hold women back, they’d be just as tall and strong.
@LaloDagach@MaajidNawaz Lockdowns deserve criticism. A full accounting of unintended side effects seems lacking. Not at all claiming Nawaz is the right guy for the job...
@LaloDagach@MaajidNawaz I’m not an expert on the effectiveness of his reform. Just thought he’s fairly alone in that effort. I’m open to it being a sham and ineffectual.
@LaloDagach@MaajidNawaz Ironic too as Nawaz is the one dedicated to disabusing extremists of their views and treating them with empathy as fellow humans.
I was in my school's gym, surrounded by bodies
Several were unconscious. Some were kneeling, sobbing, clutching one another. Many sang a glassolalic murmur. I stood for hours, hands outstretched, tears running down my face
This was the second day of our Revival

@KENNETHWILLlAMS Here's one of my favourite Ken clips:
Will never forgive the BBC for not commissioning an entire science series hosted by Kenneth Williams.
Four's Company: Conversations are typically limited to about four people, because four gives people the biggest bang for the buck. https://t.co/9NTpxa7JRF
Egregious: A math paper that tries to explain a fascinating fact (greater male variability) is censored. Again the academic left loses its mind: Ties equality to sameness, erodes credibility of academia, & vindicates right-wing paranoia. https://t.co/YKEktMKJUL via @QuilletteM
