I instruct an upper-year undergraduate course on Healthy Aging at @queensu - for one of the assignments, students were asked to create an infographic discussing a common myth about aging. I have permission to share some of the infographics with you... 1/7
Quick reminder that while we celebrate Canada's men's program our women's program has been to eight FIFA World Cups and won Olympic gold and have set the international soccer tone in this country for quite some time.
@andrewngyyc 100% and not only that, it was a half credit. Maybe it should be converted to a full semester political science or social studies or civic action course. And mandatory. So, so mandatory. We gotta know our rights!
@connecta_j You're a compassionate person! And who knows what kind of day that person was having. I wish they didn't storm out on you, but advocating for your needs and others is a good thing!
@connecta_j Good for you for sticking to your boundaries. It’s not easy, and unfortunately it’s not always well received, but it’s an act of kindness to yourself and others to explain and stick to your boundaries. 👏
@JenaFriedman I breastfed exclusively bc my baby refused a bottle. It hurt like hell for 4-6 weeks, if I recall correctly. Thankfully found a good lactation consultant to help with latch and figure out source of the pain. It got better and easier over time.

More info on voter assistance centres can be found at https://t.co/vDBbtiJouF

@llunky @Diana_C_McNally @cityoftoronto@RegionofDurham Hi there 😊 All members of our community who meet the eligibility requirements to vote will be supported by the Town in exercising this right. Unsheltered members of our community, or those with no fixed address, are part of our local democracy and can vote.

What a thoughtful and joyful piece from a colleague-turned-friend, someone I am humbled to say has invited me for coffee resulting in many wonderful conversations/ideas/lessons learned, the talented @Laura_Susann_NH #coffee#tea
