We are officially witnessing the biggest wave of infrastructure investment in modern US history.

Total investment in data centers and AI infrastructure is projected to average 3.63% of US GDP per year from 2025 to 2032, the highest proportion among major infrastructure buildouts since the 1800s.

The previous largest investment, railroad infrastructure, represented 2.24% of GDP per year in 1870-1890.

This was followed by highway investment that averaged 1.13% of GDP in 1956-1973, while telecommunications and fiber infrastructure averaged 1.10% in 1996-2003.

By comparison, electrification stood at just 0.50% of GDP in 1905-1925, while canal investment accounted for 0.66% in 1836-1841.

This comes as AI and data-center infrastructure investment is projected to total ~$10.3 trillion between 2025 and 2032.

The AI buildout is the largest infrastructure investment in modern US history.

‼️ BREAKING: Revolut handed over customers’ passport copies, verification selfies and full transaction histories to a malicious actor.

The actor sent lawful government information-demand emails using a genuine government domain that passed domain authentication.

Revolut later concluded they were not authentic.

Affected customers were notified on Friday. What may have been disclosed ranges from name, date of birth and home address to account statements, withdrawal records and complete Bitcoin transaction history.

The company says it has alerted the agency to the unauthorised mailbox on its domain, blocked the address and begun notifying regulators.

It has not named the agency, explained how someone obtained a mailbox there, or given a number of affected customers.

ZachXBT, who circulated the notices, believes the incident was limited in size and aimed at high-net-worth users.

‼️ BREAKING: Your LG TV is eavesdropping on you. It transcribes what you say, copies what is on your screen, and scans every device on your network, and researchers say the collection keeps running after you disconnect it, uploading the moment it reconnects.

LG's ad-tech arm says it out loud: "We own the glass." It pitches marketers on the ability to "own the living room," using data harvested from the TV you paid thousands for.

Gamers Nexus, working with Level1Techs and independent researchers, compromised an LG G5 and turned it into a listening device: it recorded room audio while the screen appeared off and the Ethernet cable was unplugged, then exfiltrated the file once the TV was back online.

LG has publicly said its TVs "do not collect, record, or store ambient conversations." Gamers Nexus found the TV converts speech to plain text and stores it in on-device logs, and that the mic window stays open 10 to 15 seconds after talking stops, sweeping up bystanders who never addressed the TV.

These sets are everywhere: hospitals, waiting rooms, boardrooms, hotels. ACR keeps running even when the TV is a dumb HDMI monitor, and a compromised set can pull the audio of a call off that HDMI feed. A surgeon asked Gamers Nexus where that leaves patient confidentiality.

Researchers advise disconnecting LG TVs from any network.

We release Needle 2: A 14MB agentic LLM for phones, wearables, smart home, robots and microcontroller. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM. It is built on our Simple Attention Network findings, compressed to CQ2-bit with Cactus Quants, and baked into its own engine.

Needle 2 has 45m parameters trained from the ground up on 140B tool call, device use structured generation tokens. On mobile device use benchmarks, Needle 2 trades wins with frontier small LLMs like LFM2.5 230M, Apple FM Gemma-270m, at 5× to 70× smaller, and 2 bits against their f16.

Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, between 400–1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges 300–700 on sub-$200 phones such as the Samsung A-Series. Needle also runs on newer microcontrollers like ESP32.

A conventional transformer of Needle's width and depth spends 164 MFLOPs per token, and even one squeezed down to Needle's parameter count spends 87, Needle spends 70. Even on a high-end phone, an always-on assistant lives inside a power budget; every MFLOP is milliwatt-hours, and Needle spends 7x to 85x fewer of them per token than the smallest performant LLMs.

BREAKING: The number of new single-family homes for sale has surged to 500,000 in February, the highest since November 2007.

The number of new homes on the market has more than TRIPLED over the last 13 years, from a low of 142,000.

Excluding the 2006 housing bubble this is, by far, the largest supply of new homes in history.

Meanwhile, new single-family homes for sale in the south fell 8,000 to 296,000, near an all-time high.

This is higher than the 291,000 seen in 2006, a year before the housing market crash began.

Bybit detected unauthorized activity involving one of our ETH cold wallets. The incident occurred when our ETH multisig cold wallet executed a transfer to our warm wallet. Unfortunately, this transaction was manipulated through a sophisticated attack that masked the signing interface, displaying the correct address while altering the underlying smart contract logic. As a result, the attacker was able to gain control of the affected ETH cold wallet and transfer its holdings to an unidentified address.

Our security team, alongside leading blockchain forensic experts and partners, is actively investigating the incident. Any teams with expertise in blockchain analytics and fund recovery who can assist in tracing these assets are welcome to collaborate with us.

We want to assure our users and partners that all other Bybit cold wallets remain fully secure. All client funds are safe, and our operations continue as usual without any disruption.
