Class. I know a little bit about losing a race you’d hope to have won. Hard fought & close election, 51%-49%. Proud to have worked hard for @chavezformayor and her positive vision for San Jose. Congratulations to Mayor-elect @MattMahanSJ We all root for our great City’s success.

White women are not "voting against their own interests."
They're making an astute political calculation that they have made successfully for decades.
They look around. They see who has power (almost exclusively white men). They side w power.
It's sick, but it's not stupid.
@christapeterso Ads about dialysis are the Shen Yun of California political ads. You don't entirely understand why they're everywhere, you know there's something sinister but don't quite understand what, and you're never gonna bother checking it out.
Remember when the most qualified person was beaten by someone w zero experience in govt but touted being an outsider and a business leader? Let’s not do that today. Vote @chavezformayor
Larry Kudlow on Fox Business 9/23/22: "The new British prime minister, Liz Truss, has laid out a terrific supply-side economic growth plan which looks a lot like the basic thrust of Kevin McCarthy's Commitment to America plan.”
Wow. All 3 top runner ups in SJ Mayor’s Race — highly respected fiscal conservative @DevDavisCA, champion progressive leader @RaulPeralez & admired leader in law enforcement Jim Spence — endorse @chavezformayor https://t.co/i5Ne8yCttF
From the east side to the west side and everywhere in between, it’s been such a pleasure connecting with residents to share our vision of creating a cleaner, safer #SanJosé—together.
This mailer came to my house. It’s unbelievable that this kind of racist dog whistle campaigning is still happening in our community after the numerous times that similar mailers have been denounced (and led to the near-collapse of our local chamber of commerce).
I became physically sick listening to the racist and homophobic comments made by Los Angeles’ most powerful city officials. Racism is wrong in all contexts, especially in conversations about our city’s governance and representation. 🧵1/5
