I paddled 60 miles in 6 days with my sibling and dad in the boundary waters a couple weeks ago. the trip was a ton of fun, here’s a thread of pics from each day :D

June 23, 2024 — Fall Lake to Basswood Lake

September 14, 2024 — Cinnamon Mountain

after buying bear spray, we went back to this trail and made it to the top this time! featuring low traffic, nice forest cover, a beautiful prairie final mile, and awesome panoramic views at the top. one of my favorite hikes this year :D

September 8, 2024 — Sunlight Lake

hiked 9 miles round trip to this beautiful alpine lake in the Crazy Mountains. views from the top were awesome even with the haze—this range is gorgeous and i will definitely be going back!

August 31, 2024 — Sacagawea Peak

this hike destroyed me when we first did it in 2022—it goes from 7600 to 9650ft in ~2.2 miles. our ascent today took 45 fewer minutes, and we made it up a lot easier! i’m really proud of this growth, and excited to tackle more peaks this fall :D

August 24, 2024 — Cinnamon Creek

we wanted to do an 8 mile round trip hike to the peak but turned around after about 2 miles because of pretty fresh grizzly tracks in mud. had a nice time regardless, and will be doing something more adventurous tomorrow!

August 11, 2024 — Garnet Peak

8 miles round trip with nearly 3000 ft elevation gain was intimidating, but it ended up being a great hike! walked into, through, and then above a cloud layer on the way up, which was really cool—i’m glad we got out early enough to experience that

August 3, 2024 — Bridger Bowl Ridge Trail

got my ass kicked today but still made it to the top. 2100 ft elevation gain in 2 miles, really should’ve done this on a cooler day lol
