Charlie Munger:
Charlie Munger: "It's not a competency if you don't know the edge of it. You are a disaster if you don't know the edge of your own competency."
"Warren [Buffett] frequently says, 'I'd rather deal with a guy with an IQ of 130 who thinks it's 125 than a guy with an IQ of 180 who thinks it's 200. That second guy will kill you.'"
"Warren and I know the edge of our competency better than other people do. That is a very important thing to know."

Suécia, 1958. Chile, 1962. México, 1970.
Três continentes. Três décadas diferentes. Três vezes campeão do mundo.
.
Sweden, 1958. Chile, 1962. Mexico, 1970.
Three continents. Three different decades. Three-time World Champion.
No player in history did it before. None have done it since.
Football has seen geniuses. Legends. Phenomena.
But only one King.
55 years after Mexico, the record stands untouched. Not because great players were lacking. But because Pelé’s greatness has no comparison.
The NBA mourns the passing of Oscar Schmidt (1958-2026). The Brazilian basketball legend debuted for Brazil at 19 in 1977 and played in every Olympics from 1980 to 1996. Oscar’s the all-time leading scorer in Olympic history with more than 1,000 points and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. We extend our deepest condolences to the Schmidt family.
