None of this should have to be said because it shouldn't be this hard for people who claim to care about him to understand, but lets break this conversation down: First, I'm part of the gay community, so let’s cut out the bullshit where the argument is that straight people are assuming he’s straight and that’s what’s causing the upset.

Now, let’s take a moment to be deeply garbage people and assume another human’s sexuality. Let’s for a minute say he is queer. If that’s the case, then the shit you’re doing is even more awful because its forcing someone to be out who has not chosen that for themselves, and you’re doing that to him in an environment that is tremendously hostile towards men who are not toxically masculine.

That’s nice that YOU want representation. But if HE wanted to be your representation, he would choose it himself. Don't ever force someone out who has not chosen that for themselves. That’s unimaginably selfish and disrespectful to the boundaries he has created surrounding his sexuality and his personal life.

If he has a woman around publicly all the time…… why do you think that is? Why does he take the effort and time to do that rather than just being openly out and proud? Because HE himself does not want to be public or outed. Because HE deserves the right to choose for himself when or if he ever makes something so personal go public. “She’s PR and he’s gay!” Okay cool, then let them be. Because if he feels like that’s important enough to set up and deal with, then why would we ever break that protective wall down that he’s trying so hard to build around him?

At this point, you’re choosing to do that knowing and seeing how weaponized it is against him. You’re seeing people shout and spew it as insults, as something to degrade and demean and belittle him, and you just don’t care about how you’re influencing that. You are choosing to feed them opinions and content intended to entertain you and to out him. And you’re continuing to do it even now that more eyes than ever are on him and your tweets about his private details and sexuality are getting 8k likes.

Every person should have the right to choose when or if they ever want to come out to the world. That is a deeply personal, life changing event even for normal people who don’t get slurs screamed at them and insults thrown at them hundreds of times a day. He already struggles dealing with the abuse he gets. He already has to walk around with a bodyguard. He already gets death threats every week. On top of that, he has to travel the world to foreign countries with differing beliefs, norms and trigger points about gays.

People can’t wait for any opportunity to be cruel to him. We fight on here against the things people try to use to hurt him…. but defending him from hate and harm ends the moment its something you think is fun? Its okay to serve him up to monsters when you can use his personal life for your own entertainment?

If you’re part of the gay community, we’re supposed to shield each other and protect each other from the worst parts of humanity. But you’re doing the opposite - you’re serving up the private personal parts of him to to people who want to rip him up for it. And doing that apparently because your fun and laughs mean more than how it causes someone else to be treated without dignity or respect.

If you’re not part of the gay community, learn some goddamn respect or sit down.

He has accomplished incredible things this year, but that isn't enough for some of you. Some people continue trying to take more parts of him than he is freely willing to give. If he is queer, all you’re doing is harming him, and you’re using his sexuality to do it.
