@kushika_twt My guesses:
- Distance. The latency between there and most customers would be unacceptably high.
- Bandwidth. I don’t think Antarctica or the Arctic have huge trunk fibre lines available to them.
@HarmonyIsung@lnxsec Go to https://t.co/aAq0CT5ELH in a web browser. Click their little chat icon in the bottom right of the screen. Tell it you got hacked and your account was taken over. It’ll walk you through the process.
I woke up to my instagram, Facebook, messenger, and threads accounts all having been permanently disabled, with no chance to appeal the decision or log people out of the account. All dead. No recourse. Was a member of all of them from year 1 if not day 1. And I use 1Password+2FA!
@nandoprince93 Action button for flashlight.
The camera control’s sensitivity is all wrong, especially if you use a case. It’s useless to me, and I hit it by accident all the time
@lnxsec It was related to that! After Meta figured that out, I asked again and they sent a reclaim link to the email address I had connected to the account before it was taken over. Followed the link, set a new password. and all was reinstated. PHEW!
@ztisdale Fuck right off there, buddy.
I’m proud of being Canadian, and multi-culturalism is a big part of that.
The right solution is for you to move to the USA, not to change Canada.
@NonCitizenFive Once they realized that a new account take-over was happening, they gave my accounts back. Pure luck. Made me realize I’m way too reliant on them.
@tunguz We’re still here, but few people care. Almost nobody ever let us do our jobs properly. Only lip service was paid to real Scrum. Most stuck with Scrummerfall. Too bad, because real Scrum is amazing.
@hthieblot Gabocorp, which was just one guy, but it was the first time someone made an awesome looking very animated & fluid website using a new tech called “Flash”. It blew my mind.
A new account takeover “exploit” came out 20 hours before my account was banned. Details here: https://t.co/MqDWvpCKny
By noon, when I told Meta it happened just before 7am Eastern, they realized. After a few verifications, everything was back.
Time to own my own web presence
