It was cold out, but the message was strong and united by the labour movement and allies alike. Healthcare is public and not for sale and no room for profits. Fund the hospitals so that staff and resources can be utilized to provide the services we need.
"To ensure the trades are not eroded because of labour shortages we all need to be part of making sure the trades is a place for everyone...because make no mistake, the pressure to water down the trades will grow as the shortages grow," @Lanampayne tells Skilled Trades delegates.

Yesterday, former #Unifor594 president Kevin Bittman was awarded with a Queens Platinum Jubilee medal at the Legislature for his work in the labour movement to make Saskatchewan a better place.
