Creators/influencers; what’s your plan?
The reality of this industry is very harsh. Even for those who find what could be considered great success.
Nothing lasts forever. Have a pivot plan for every possible plateau you MIGHT hit.
Content ends
Looks fade
Jokes get old
Skills degrade
Platforms close
Communities disperse
5 year chunks are now too slow. What’s your pivot this year? What wheels are you setting in motion? Are they in realms outside of content?
Streamer "JayMommy0", UNDER FIRE within the LSF community for being labeled as a "racist" due to an altercation that happened between her and fellow streamer "Vegas" within YourRAGE's "YRG Cobbleverse" game 👀
"Are you white?!"
"Why did his white *ss come up to me and you mid conversation, tryna show his f*cking dirty *ss level 100 in the middle of me and your conversation?"
"B*tch you can't be racist to a f*cking white guy, you f*cking b*tch"
@LlamaOnD2 You’re basically down patching and playing an old outdated build of the game. So it won’t have strand or anything after this update etc etc.
Steam hosts the previous builds of D2. You can always download old content. This build is the shadowkeep arrivals build, the final one before the sunsetting, with beyond light.
This mod is allowing you to play the old steam depot download via an off-line, single player exploration mode
@Skarrow9@Kragos_ I could see that given the complexity of it, just to fire up “D2 in Y1” just to look at it (not even talking porting) would require many different old versions of systems and databases to be recreated and connected. This tech blog from 2021 suggests 20!
Can anyone explain how this is even remotely possible?
I thought sunsetting meant the content was all gone and entirely inaccessible, but that’s not the case?
Either way, amazingly bittersweet to see this again, can’t wait for the rest!
