At OOYH, We love stories, we love raging rants, we love all the thoughts that you have when you’re sneaking into the kitchen in your underpants!
Thoughts can become realities when they’re expressed to an audience who are primed to hear you out. 4/4
The pandemic and austerity has led to the decimation of the arts scene and a barren future for young or unestablished creative performers. OOYH wants to provide a stage for people from all backgrounds to share their hopes, thoughts, joy and agony in a nurturing environment 3/4
OOYH wants to liven up the North-East performance scene for anyone wishing to express themselves in a creative way; providing a new and fascinating experience every month with a new theme. 2/4

Hi all! The long awaited Generation Lockdown Writes is ready to be released in March, in time for the two year anniversary of the first lockdown in England.
We are so grateful for all of the amazing entries and help from the brilliant authors. Here’s a peek at the book!
All winners have been chosen and final categories are being contacted this week - thank you so much to everyone to entered and everyone helping this come together - It’s looking amazing!
We have had thousands of entries from young people and read every single one - and have selected an amazing 50 winners, 5 from age categories 7-17 years. It has been wonderful to see such talent and receive emails from parents letting us know how happy their child is to have won.
@skylight99 Hi heather,I’m afraid there were no updates for a while, between one organiser having a baby and health things for the other, things were slow. However, every moment of work(10s and 10s of hours each)has been 100% voluntary-including that of authors. There was also no time scale set.
Hello all!
The Generation Lockdown manuscript is officially in progress and currently over 100 pages long! We are in the process of contacting all winners of their categories. I cannot thank all of the authors/judges enough for all of their support and, of course, the entrants1/2
