@goatedwtaatp He isn’t wrong though. Coco is a defensive player and very much has the strategy of “just get one more ball back”. The reporting on her game is the same because her game doesn’t change. She continues to just squeak through matches and rarely looks like the dominant player.

@toryto_007 @pavyg What will it take for people to understand that the purpose of wild cards are not for the “up and coming”? It’s for players who cannot get into the main draw on their ranking alone and are awarded at the tourney’s discretion. Wawrinka, Dimitrov, and Chwalinska all got them.
