To be completely honest - they should rebalance their tariff too (meaning charging more on their US imports).

Low tarrifs imposed by US has led to an overly-dependent consumption economy. Many of our production capabilities have moved offshore and is not a particularly great spot to be in.

Charging more tarrifs (or leveling the playing field) will lead to higher onshore production, fewer supply chain issues, and far fewer geopolitical issues.
