I'll give you an example. Two days ago I matched with a girl on Feeld and we decided to go to the nearby park and dance together. Then we went back to her house and danced more and drank some coffee. Then there was a bunch of sexual tension so we went into her room and had sex. She's cool! But we are not in a relationship.

I disagree with "about as confident", because your prior should be influenced by the fact that you are a human, and you see directly that you have conscious experience, and other humans have the same biology as you do, so probability is high that their internal state has the same properties as yours.

I have a philosophy degree and also a bunch of stem degrees (neuroscience, biomedical engineering, partial computer science PhD). I can say definitively that the philosophy degree made me a better thinker out of any of them, which is downstream much more net useful when integrated over the totality of life. It's just harder to measure.

I think I'm perfectly fine, thanks. I would think carefully about the way you interpret things in the worst possible light though. I really don't want to continue this conversation though, because, again, you're a really unpleasant person to interact with and I much prefer interacting with people who are joyful. I will try to tear myself off - I have a bad habit of arguing with insane people on the internet rather than just letting them be!
