I am excited to announce that I have accepted a position at Mercer University as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach! GO BEARS🐻💯 #merceruniversity
@DNeill62 Absolutely agree! I also think something that gets in the way is using complex training systems too early. If you can still get results keeping things basic and fundamental, do that. Use the fancy stuff when progression has slowed.
@StrengthDebates I think you just have to be careful with them, Esp if you are someone who like the Olympic lift. Feeling how heavy the weight feels in your hands off the floor is a big deal. So as long as you don’t rely on them I think they are great!
@StrengthDebates If I just had to do one thing it would be pull-up. Has the most positive correlation to all other lift as well as a correlation with speed.
@PratikxPatel@presleep_ All these people getting in their feelings about artificial sweeteners 😂 if artificial sweetners are the “worst” thing you are intaking, you are a very healthy human.
@StrengthDebates A program staple for us! Havnt tried the banded version but have done an offset SA bench with a lighter db and loved it. Will have to give it a try though. A big bang for your buck exercise esp for bigs!
@ScottLeech72 I would assume it would be based on a rough force velocity profile. We tested it would with VBT and it correlated with speed & power zones according to its parameters. For sure a good starting point and can make tweaks from there.
