So @elonmusk, I've never even thought about trying to invest in an IPO before, but I'm all in on SpaceX. I wish I had more info on how to do this...I'm just a Joe Blow who knows that a once in a lifetime investment is presenting itself to me. I've never done this before so it's challenging. I'm even using @grok for assistance. I want to be be in on when you change the world… Again…
Look, a Blue Origin rocket blew up. Perfect. That’s exactly how the ‘oligarchs’ are supposed to burn their own money—taking massive, voluntary risks on the frontier so the rest of us eventually get the breakthroughs.
While critics clutch their pearls about ‘trillions that could have gone to schools and hospitals,’ let’s run the actual movie: Governments already spend trillions every year on schools and healthcare, with results that range from mediocre to embarrassing. The ROI on another government program is usually negative.
But a rich guy lighting his own cash on fire in the desert to master reusable rockets? That’s produced GPS, satellite internet, better materials, medical imaging tech, and eventually cheap access to space that will unlock energy, resources, and yes—new ways to solve earthly problems at scale.
The complainers want the upside without the explosions. The adults understand: progress is paid for in spectacular failures by people spending their own money, not yours.
One exploded rocket today. Thousands of lives improved (and extended) tomorrow because someone had the balls to try. That’s not oligarchy. That’s how civilization level up.
@VigilantFox Scott Adams was an American hero. Few know all of his contributions he made for his country. Few know all that he changed and influenced the world by his will alone. Godspeed @ScottAdamsSays
