I want to add that I know this doesn’t apply to everyone. And isn’t unique to beauty YT either. But it’s just commentary on my own personal experience.
Taking a long break from beauty YouTube has been so interesting. People admit they barely watch content and also have shifted what they consumed, while at the same time wanting you to keep creating the same content.
I’ve barely tweeted in a year. My content has shifted a lot and the space has been super healthy for me. I needed to pause, step back, and reflect on what kind of content I wanted to be making.
My IG content is a mix of fashion and makeup. It was a change I needed and it’s been so much fun. It’s a good outlet and I really needed to shift that platform.
With YouTube, I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do. Creating beauty content doesn’t have the same appeal to me that it used to. I might keep adding in more fashion and lifestyle, or I might just take a longer break. I’m really not sure.
I’ve been doing a ton behind the scenes for my blog - updating existing content is never ending. I’m working towards getting back to regular new posts there and a new design too. It needs it.
have you tried our reusable face masks yet? we'd love your feedback on ease of re-use. the 100% silicone stick-ons can be washed with light soap and water, stored in their accompanying tin and reapplied with your favorite serum at your convenience! what do you think?
@ali_n_harrison@hauslabs Hi! I haven’t been able to verify their status in the past after reaching out a lot, so it all depends on them. I’ll try reaching out again but it’s usually the most helpful when people let the brand know they want them on the Logical Harmony Cruelty-Free Brand List.
