@thsottiaux How about making it easier to switch between a personal account and enterprise account? My enterprise account uses a different email address hence I have to sign in and out each time. @thsottiaux I’m sure there are more people with this issue.

After Fable gets removed there is absolutely no reason to stay on the max plan. None of their models will be leaders. It makes sense to switch over to ChatGPT.

Quick disclaimer up front: I have not had my hands on GPT-5.6 myself, so this is really just me reading the room from the early-access posts and the general consensus. I will wait for the public release before I make my own mind up.

With that said, the mood is hard to miss. By all accounts this ALMOST sounds like the jump a lot of people were quietly hoping for. The common theme of what people are saying it the model is very persistent. Testers say it is eager, that it will happily sit on a single task for a long time, and that it more or less never gives up. A fair few are calling it the strongest thing going for computer use.

The funny thing is the name. From the way people describe it you would think this was a proper generational step, and yet it lands as a modest point release. On the reactions alone you would probably have called it a 6.

There is the usual caveat, and it is worth holding onto. Most testers still seem to feel Fable 5 is the more thoughtful model overall.

What I find most interesting is the timing. The talk is that 5.6 is the last of the 5 line, with GPT-6 possibly only weeks away. If something that feels this big is going out as a point release, it is hard not to suspect there is already something larger waiting behind it.

For what it is worth, since 5.5 I have been flicking between Codex and Claude Code most days as it is, so this is a good problem to have.

- GPT-6 is coming sooner than expected, likely within a month, and possibly even this month
- OpenAI believes it can go toe to toe with Anthropic's Fable 5 and the upcoming Fable 5.1 (lets hope)
- Anthropic's Fable 5.1 is nearly finished and expected in the next few weeks
- DeepSeek has also started building an even larger model to compete with MiniMax Pro
