Human. Christian. Tired of all the nonsense.
The nonsense: complementarianism, patriarchy, hierarchy, racism, LGBTQ+ hate, christian nationalism, abuse....etc
The one question I’ve never seen an AI bro answer successfully:
If AI is so groundbreaking and brilliant, why can’t it design a way to run without giant data centers, massive amounts of electricity, and enormous quantities of water?
It can’t even solve its own resource problem.
Why do you expect it to solve ours?
I saw a comment saying the U.S. is the only country in the World Cup without universal healthcare. And I was like nahhh no way that's accurate.
20 seconds on the world wide web later, THE UNITES STATES IS THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD CUP WITHOUT UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE.
Republicans looked the country in the eye and made a promise. When they rewrote the food stamp program last year, they said children would not be touched.
Pregnant women would not be touched.
Families with young kids would not be touched. They said it on the House floor, on the record, in front of everyone.
A year later we know the truth.
More than 776,000 children have been cut off from food assistance. In the states that track participation by age, kids make up nearly half of everyone who lost benefits.
These are kids who went to bed hungry because a politician wanted a talking point.
We must be a country that feeds its children. We used to believe that was the bare minimum. Take care of the kid who is hungry through no fault of their own.
The people who broke that promise should have to answer for it, and in November they will.

So the world’s only trillionaire, who hates taxes, opposes wealth redistribution, wants to cut public spending, and barely gives to charity, wants you to think he will lead the world to abundance for all if you buy his robots? How has that worked so far?
This is the direct OPPOSITE of a "meritocracy."
Navy leadership believed that Admiral Stephen D. Barnett was the top choice for a command position that would oversee our US Naval bases "at home and abroad."
He was due a promotion.
He had more experience than the other candidates and he also successfully presided over the clean up of one of the Navy's "worst messes" in recent history—a fuel spill that contaminated an aquifer on a base in Hawaii, causing thousands to get sick.
But the admiral didn't get the job because he was black.
"Instead of Admiral Barnett, Mr. Hegseth selected a white officer who was the Navy leadership’s third choice."
"So far this year, Mr. Hegseth has blocked the promotions of at least 40 senior officers to general and admiral ranks. About half of those are women or members of minority groups."
There is nothing meritocratic about Hegseth's decision.
For years, conservatives have been complaining that the "DEI" boogeyman is responsible for discriminating against qualified white candidates.
This was, of course, not the case.
But now these same pearlclutchers are on board with an administration that's actually discriminating in hiring based on race.
Every accusation a confession.
So they're arresting people for taking a piece of the paint that's peeling off the Reflecting Pool while allowing the people who rape kids with jeffrey epstein to walk free?????
I feel like this hasn’t be emphasized enough. The disaster of a “repair” job on the reflecting pool isn’t ineptitude, it’s money laundering. That paint job that’s already peeling? That didn’t cost $18 million. Corruption in plain sight.
The ultimate scam of the American corporate system is making health insurance tied to your employment. It’s intentionally designed to keep you too terrified to quit a toxic job or start your own business.
I’m the first woman in 6 generations to not be wedded/ with child by 22. The first to have a degree (and go onto 2 masters). When I told my great grandma I was engaged at 27, she asked if I was sure as I’m so young. The women of the previous generations don’t even agree with you.
🚨🚨🚨WHERE IS OUR PRESS ON THIS?
A woman told the FBI in 2021 that two men were openly roaming Trump Tower recruiting women to go upstairs and have sex with Trump.
She said one winked at her and told her Trump could "fulfill any of her desires." 🤢
When she said no, they handed her an invitation to a party at Jeffrey Epstein's house to meet Trump there.
She watched the same men approach other women, mostly blondes, 15 / 16 years old, for six straight months.
When she refused? They threatened her, told her they knew where she worked.
Imagine if this was Obama or Biden. It would never leave our TV screens.
But it's Trump, so let's move on from one shiny object to another.
