One would think Baba Ijesha was accused wrongly, evidence of his pedophilic act is still on the internet btw. Plus you might want to check Lagos state sexual offenders list, his name is there too. Supporting rubbish
If their neighbor did not tweet on multiple occasions about the assault sha was hearing from her house, that's how a victim of DV would have been called a liar.
Toh
How can somebody see all that babe went through and say two of them are abusers
She’s an abuser for fighting a man that has battered her over an over?
She’s an abuser for defending herself?
Please Dpmo abeg ijn
What is even crazy is the fact that David used every possible pity card on the internet😭😭
- mental health/post partum depression card
- “I didn’t speak up so they won’t call me weak” card
- infidelity card
- she doesn’t cook or clean card
- she’s after my money card
- I’m the victim card
- They ganged up on me card
All this lengthy explanation about how they met, how she was stranded, how she doesn't cook, and everything else surrounding their relationship—what exactly does any of that have to do with the fact that he’s a serial abuser?
David lost me when he said Alicia was spending all his money on nails and wigs because this is someone we all saw on slick back throughout her stay in Lagos😭
David Martins stories on IG are killing me. How can you say she hit you, you dodged and your phone now hit her eyes giving her the black eyes she posted about?
a cheating man is bad enough. but you know what’s even worse? a man who pretends to be a good person, when really in reality is a pathological liar, a lustful manipulator, and an expert at playing the victim.
The worst kind of man isn't the cheater.
It's the one who pretends to be a good man, but in reality he's a liar, a manipulator and a master at playing the victim.
It's the one who lies so well you start doubting your own truth, who twists your words, plays with your emotions and convinces you that you are the problem. The man who always plays the victim usually has the most to hide.
I hate the ‘she should have known better’ and the ‘I told her so’ bandwagon every time an abuser is outed. You’re indirectly supporting the abuser and causing confusion. Your words serves nobody. The victim has suffered enough. Support the person or shut up.
Alicia has taken responsibility for ignoring the red flags. Can we focus on the monster and stop asking why she stayed? 🤷♀️
I don’t like how we indirectly blame the victim in situations like this. If she lost her life now, people will ask why she didn’t speak up.
A major reason abuse thrives is because of silence. Especially silence from those you expect to know better & hold their person accountable. In-laws will keep silent. Siblings will turn the other way. All abusers should be called out, no peace for the wicked.
