The Best Things in Life are Free.

Let me tell the story of a wonderful Nigerian I met on my trip back home from Houston two days ago.

Collins Ikenna Egwu of Delta Airlines Atlanta.

On sighting me, he walked up to chat before the boarding of our flight to Lagos.

He was not at work but traveling home to be with his Mom for a few days.

Collins, a very kind soul who on hearing of the seating problem that made me leave the lounge earlier than usual to the boarding gate; quickly took it up and boom, solved!

Here’s the beautiful part of this story.

Two hours into arriving Lagos, the lovely Chief Flight Attendant tapped me and with a broad smile said:

“Our colleague, Collins has told us so much about you and now we need you to help us surprise him. He does not know we are aware that today is his birthday. We have planned a surprise for him and would like you to join us deliver it. Can you oblige us this request, Ma’am?”

I said: Sign me on immediately!😁

Here are the lovely birthday pictures of a wonderful compatriot - Collins - whose Delta colleagues excitedly celebrated for the many good things he’s been to them.

Money cannot buy a beautiful moment of Life for Collins like what happened on that Delta Flight.
