Swedish commentator cried watching Yuzuru's gala ex, she said "during all of my years commentating on figure skating, there hasn't been a single skater that is so philosophical and has such a thoughtful relationship to his skating as Yuzuru Hanyu." #Stockholm2021

[ness🎃taiga nishino jwc @yuzuromans]

No romsky no deniss no Yuma no Jun no Matteo in the GP WORST FUCKING SEASON EVER

[holly // 🌸🌸🌸 @lonelycoffees]

🇰🇷 Junhwan Cha announces that he will not compete this season
https://t.co/Pyl1yKmXHo

[🤍 @tripleaxels]

and nonsensical rules like these is the reason why the greatest skater that has ever graced this dying sport was left to feeling like this in the last parts of his competitive career

[Hosiana ❄️ @namirelia]

Figure skater already can’t directly appeal their score and now they can’t speaks out about it??? Just bluntly announce to the world that they are indeed corrupt federation. REFORM

[windy🪐🫧 @quad_flop]

stéphane has had some amazing quotes but my favourites remain: “i hope never” (when asked when we’ll see quints), “if i wanted to see a backflip i would go to the circus” and “you’re killing figure skating”

[holly // 🌸🌸🌸 @lonelycoffees]

@verybadideaugh No 😭💔

[michelle @zingniks]

out of context figure skating:

[holly // 🌸🌸🌸 @lonelycoffees]

THANK YOU @ the Swedish commentators for saying that Jun was underscored in pcs. I'm still angry about it

[marie ✨ @hanyuchopin]

that is ridiculous frankly kaori should be in first

[marie ✨ @hanyuchopin]

story of the event is americans being overscored basically

[holly // 🌸🌸🌸 @lonelycoffees]

I haven't really been following figure skating in two, three seasons maybe but 👀 I didn't think alysas fp was that fun to watch.. Like it felt like mostly jumps imo 😶‍🌫️

[holly // 🌸🌸🌸 @lonelycoffees]

Kaori 😭😭😭😭😭

[chloé 🌙 @midorimoonlight]

no medal could never measure what kaori sakamoto has given to this sport. she has carried the weight of expectations with quiet strength for 4 years, skated with a heart wide open, and shown time and time again what strength and resilience looked like.

[holly // 🌸🌸🌸 @lonelycoffees]

Kaori!!! 😭❤️

[nope @verybadideaugh]

It's already excruciating trying not be reminded of how THIS moment, the happiest of Jun we’ve seen in YEARS, was tainted by what came after. Like, don't test me.

[International Biathlon Union @biathlonworld]

🇸🇪 First Swedish biathlon medal of the Games! 🥇

Martin Ponsiluoma nails the final shooting stage to secure the top spot, following in the footsteps of Björn Ferry, the 2010 Olympic champion.

A proud moment and a performance to remember! 👏

people who don't know anything about figure skating will never understand how truly insane this result is. ABSOLUTELY INSANE

[Gaia 🇵🇸🍉 @redhandedwords]

Can we admit that this was a horrible free to watch? It's supposed to be the pinnacle of the sport and we've only seen men fall on their asses over and over in pursuit of an insanely high tech content instead of stability and artistry. How is this better than well skated triples?
