Fully #vaccinated as of today!
I was breastfeeding when I got both shots, and still #breastfeeding now, so don't let that stop you if you're on the fence ๐๐๐
Breastfeeding means I wake up feeling ravenous most mornings, inevitably eat too much, feel uncomfortably full for a few hours and then suddenly feel hungry again. What happened to that in-between feeling of "satisfied but not too full"?!
No one really talks about how noisy babies are, and I don't mean the crying... My four-month had a case of the hiccups on a quiet train this morning and boy were they loud! He was totally oblivious to it of course ๐
A year ago I got rid of a bunch of clothes because they were too baggy and they didn't *spark joy*.
Now I'm 3 months postpartum and bracing for a heatwave and all I have is one pair of stretchy shorts that fit... But hey, at least they spark joy! ๐
Taking care of an infant is going to bed every night trusting that you'll have more energy the following day to take care of the items on your to-do list...only to go to bed the following night thinking the same thing ๐
@DatabaseSponge Honestly, I struggle! I'm not sure why because I really enjoy podcasts... Maybe it's because I feel like I need to really focus on each word and can't go back and read it? Sometimes they feel too slow and other times too fast ๐ But it''s probably time I gave them another go...
I keep finding new authors to follow on Twitter and making a note to read their books before remembering that I now have a 2-month old baby and can barely get through 5 pages without falling asleep or checking my phone ๐
