After researching for a while it looks like SRAM Rival 1 is the only setup that gets close to this. But they offer only 38T as the lowest chainring.

Any other ideas?

Still trying to find a drivetrain that doesn't want to force hydraulics & electronics on me.
Here is what I want:
- 11 speed, 11-42
- road bike levers (ideally shimano 105 compatible)
- 1X chainring, max 36T
- no hydraulic brakes
- no electronic shifting
