@amazonIN this person has access to my order history and is calling me after requesting OTP on my behalf. From within your systems. And asking me to share it to get free cash back!
I know not to share… But you need to do more to protect our personal data!!
@akkiman For me it was taking about 20 photocopies from the ‘conveniently’ located guys in lobby. None of which were mentioned as required on the application. Spoils the otherwise seamless experience!
@akkiman Did they ask you to make many photocopies, just for them to be scanned at counter A and returned as wasted paper? While they could have just scanned originals?
@ThePuneMirror “Suo Moto” @ThePuneMirror ?? Felt good using a fancy legal term??
The term is used when the action performed is primarily their job but carried out without being asked to.
e.g. ‘The Court took suo moto cognizance of a matter based on media reports.’
@SandeepMall You must know that the loose packing typically means they’re bought fresh from one of the OG stores. Not the mass market plastic containers. Your consultant might have taken extra effort and was probably being extra kind 😀
The Blindsight device from Neuralink will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see.
Provided the visual cortex is intact, it will even enable those who have been blind from birth to see for the first time.
To set expectations correctly, the vision will be at first be low resolution, like Atari graphics, but eventually it has the potential be better than natural vision and enable you to see in infrared, ultraviolet or even radar wavelengths, like Geordi La Forge.
Much appreciated, @US_FDA!
@PMCPune@DrRajBhosale does anyone actually work on these online complaints?!
Mine from all of last year have fallen on deaf ears! No resolution, no response!
In 2019, PMC cut down 100+ trees to build a water tank on the Law College slope of @VetalTekdi .
Despite many meetings, reminders and follow ups, neither PMC nor L&T (the contracting firm for the tanks) showed much interest in the mandatory compensatory plantation as per the MH Tree Act and an NGT order for this same project.
So finally, some of us decided to carry out the plantation ourselves after consulting ecologists for species selection. L&T hired manual labor to dig the pits but didn't show up on the plantation day.
This is the site now - more than half the 250 saplings we planted in July 2019 have survived, and most are around 20 ft tall. In addition, thanks to annual seeding drives, there has been new growth of saplings this year.
It took Herculean efforts to keep the saplings alive through the 2 lockdown years. I was literally carrying 10 liter bottles of water up and down on my daily walks. In 2021, thanks to an obliging engineer at L&T, labor was hired to do the daily watering for a year. PMC did zilch.
This is the result of 4 years of planting, seeding, mulching, watering - and the stress of constantly badgering PMC to take their responsibilities seriously.
@PMCPune@aparanjape Wow! @aparanjape just cites an article and gets a token number. No “pls specify area” “pls share token #”
While lowly citizens like me struggles to get a simple acknowledgement for an entire year

Just shy of the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of this... @PMCPune@OfficialPMRDA shining bright in their disregard and ignorance! Destroyed a perfectly good road leaving the area in a mess. 11 months gone, instead of restoring the road before monsoon they dig the place up again!
@archrao@aparanjape@BJP4India@mohol_murlidhar Somehow the term "development" has been interpreted to push newer and world class projects and linking it to merely improving what you already have, is no good.
And of course where's the money in that?
This issue is the true state of Pune @narendramodi@mieknathshinde@BJP4India The one year of tweets and photos here. Don't be fooled by any window dressing. I'm a forth-generation honest tax-paying Punekar. Have literally lived through the steady decline watching helplessly.
@SidShirole@mohol_murlidhar@BJP4Maharashtra@BJP4India voting this time will be a mere formality! All hope is lost if grassroot problems are ignored for months without consequence and all you talk about is more projects in name of development. Who takes responsibility here??
