It’s funny how WOKE used to simply mean being aware of injustice and inequality. Then racist whites and people uncomfortable with those conversations turned it into an insult.

Now they call anything WOKE if it acknowledges racism, discrimination, or the existence of people who are different from them. A word that once meant awareness became a political buzzword because some people didn’t like what it was exposing.
