President of Colombia, @petrogustavo, whatever is going on in your personal life, there are lines that must never be crossed. Using Nazi slogans is a disgraceful low from which there is no coming back.
I hope you come to your senses and apologize before this Wednesday, when you are scheduled to preside over the debate at the United Nations Security Council.
The world is about to get a master class in antisemitism.
Israel's minister Ben Gvir's behavior towards the flotilla activists was unacceptable. I said so myself.
World leaders all posted angry denunciations of the Israeli government and summoned Israeli ambassadors for a dressing down.
Here, the same activists are receiving much more brutal treatment at the hands of the Spanish government. What we won't see however is an international outcry against the Spanish government.
This imbalance isn't due to the vagaries of international diplomacy. People hold the Jewish state to a higher standard than they do any other state, and fundamentally it's due of bigotry and hatred.

A while ago, I watched the infamous 47-minute video documenting the atrocities of October 7th — the one not made publicly available, to protect the privacy of the victims.
The worst part of this video is not what it displays, but who is displaying it: the perpetrators themselves. Gleefully. Sadistically. Unabashedly. Most of the footage was filmed by Hamas terrorists on their GoPro bodycams, some also by ordinary Gazan civilians on their cellphones.
Even the Nazis tried to cover up their atrocities, but Hamas brags about theirs for the entire world to see. The killers are euphoric throughout the massacre, and their relentless, ecstatic cries of "Allahu Akbar" (punctuated by the occasional "Kill the Jew!") are simply nauseating.
Some images are seared into my memory forever. I will never forget the two boys in their underwear — one with his eye socket hanging out of his face — asking his brother whether he thinks they're going to die, while the Hamas monster who had just thrown a grenade in their saferoom helps himself to a drink from their fridge, taking a casual break from the slaughter.
Neither will I ever forget the terrorists playing football with a severed head. Or the Thai migrant worker whose head is viciously hacked off with a garden hoe — another "Zionist colonizer" getting what he deserved, right?https://t.co/JvfJEtk8LA
Or the throngs of Gazans crowding around pickup trucks loaded with the mutilated corpses of Jewish women, filming and spitting on the bodies. Or the woman in Kibbutz Mefalsim, crouching and begging in vain for mercy.
There is some evidence of sexual violence in the video — the charred corpse of a young woman with her legs splayed and her genitals exposed — but not much. Apparently even Hamas draws a line somewhere: they are not as proud of raping Jewish women as they are of murdering them. Or, more likely, they simply didn't want to embarrass the delicate sensibilities of their legions of useful idiots in the West.
But yes — there was rape. Not "rape" in scare quotes, as the apologists would have it, but sadistic, murderous sexual violence, documented in a new damning new report by The Civil Commission, an independent Israeli women's rights NGO. (video summary here: https://t.co/LTTjiO1s7E)
Across its 180 pages, the report describes "a recurring pattern of rape and gang rape; sexual torture; mutilation; targeted shooting to the face, head and genital area; forced nudity; binding and restraint; genital burning; objects inserted into intimate areas; post-mortem sexual humiliation; and execution during or after sexual assault."
And it was premeditated and organized. The terrorists crossing into Israel carried printed Arabic-to-Hebrew phrasebooks with handy expressions like "take off your pants," "lie down," "spread your legs," and "don't make trouble." I wonder why they expected to need those particular phrases?
I know one thing: no civilized country on earth would tolerate the existence of an organization like Hamas on its border after October 7th. Not one. This includes every self-righteous Westerner currently lecturing Israel from thousands of kilometres away, without an inch of skin in the game.

To repeat: the honorary doctor of @UGent, @UAntwerpen, and @VUBrussel spread a blatant lie during the ceremony in Antwerp: that “75–80% of casualties in Gaza are women and children.”
Not even Hamas has ever claimed such a high figure, even though they've tried every kind of manipulation to inflate the percentage of "women and children", in order to bolster accusations of indiscriminate killing and "genocide".
Even UN estimates—still based on Hamas data—put the proportion at around 45%, nowhere near the absurd figure cited by @FranceskAlbs. Casualties are overwhelmingly male and of fighting age.
Did anyone correct Albanese? Did the rectors set the record straight? Did any Belgian media do a fact check? Of course not. She was applauded and fawned over by everyone. Not a scintilla of critical scrutiny.
I've never encountered such indifference to blatant dishonesty from supposedly "progressive" people. If you're defaming the Jewish state, then anything goes. Nobody cares.
I’m reading ‘Neighbours’ by Jan T Gross about the mass murder of the Jews of Jedwabne Poland.
The town was 2/3 Jewish and the non Jewish residents butchered, tortured, decapitated and finally incinerated 1500 of their neighbours in a one day pogrom.
There are many startling aspects to the testimonies but thus far the most compelling are that ordinary Polish men with ordinary jobs, families and lives took children and decapitated them, lit babies and the elderly and everyone in between on fire in a barn and then looted their property.
Why?
Well, the tropes and libels of course. As they stoned and stabbed they made their Jewish victims shout and sing: “This is because of us, the war is because of us”
Reference was made to them being “Christ Killers” and using blood for matzoh
The same old lies and libels that turn men into monsters
People should know better than to use these lies
These lies lead to pogroms
The Palestinian Ministry’s statement is a masterclass in historical denial, legal inversion and inflammatory rhetoric.
Jerusalem is Israel’s undivided capital – historically, biblically and factually. Jews have maintained a continuous presence in the city for over 3,000 years, including in Sheikh Jarrah, centred on the ancient Tomb of Shimon HaTzadik. Jewish trusts legally purchased land there in the 19th century under Ottoman rule, long before the modern conflict.
In 1948, Arab forces ethnically cleansed Jews from the eastern part of the city. Jordan illegally occupied it until 1967, expelling Jewish residents and settling Palestinians on Jewish-owned land.
Israel liberated and reunified Jerusalem in a defensive war in 1967. Israeli courts have since upheld Jewish property claims based on pre-1948 deeds – the very rights Palestinians demand for themselves but deny to Jews.
Approving a Jewish school, “Or Someach”, in Israel’s sovereign capital is not “colonisation”, “Judaization” or “erasing identity”. It is a sovereign nation providing education for its own citizens on legitimately acquired land.
Jerusalem’s Jewish majority and character predate any Palestinian national movement by millennia. Labelling normal Jewish life in the Jewish homeland “illegal” exposes the real issue: total rejection of Jewish sovereignty anywhere in the city.
Israel has no sovereignty? Tell that to three millennia of Jewish history, the 1967 reality on the ground and Israel’s Basic Law. UN resolutions, ICJ opinions and endless political declarations reflect institutional bias, not binding law that overrides a nation’s right to exist and defend itself.
The double standard is glaring. Arabs, including Palestinians, build, live and study freely throughout Israel, including West Jerusalem. Yet any Jewish school, home or family in eastern neighbourhoods triggers global hysteria about “changing facts on the ground”.
This is not about international law – it is about Palestinian leadership’s refusal to accept Jews as permanent neighbours or sovereigns in any part of the land.
“Steadfast neighbourhood” rhetoric simply masks the same zero-sum rejectionism that has blocked peace for decades. Jerusalem thrives under Israeli rule as an open city for all faiths; under previous Arab control, Jews were barred entirely.
Israel will continue building and strengthening its capital. Jewish schools in Jewish Jerusalem are not negotiable – they are normal. The world should back a people exercising their rights in their ancestral homeland, rather than indulging fantasies of reversal and erasure.
@MarioNawfal Explain then why Yemeni Muslims genocided Yemenite Jews in the 17th century. The genocide was called Al-Mawza Exile, do look it up.
Yemenite Jews in Yemen weren’t “occupiers.” They’d lived in Yemen long before Islam happened.
Former Flemish liberal leader Gwendolyn Rutten crosses a red line here by using Nazi rhetoric during Flemish talkshow #deafspraak.
According to her, Israel should be excluded from #eurovision2026, but that doesn’t happen because the sponsor is a Jewish (sic) company with Big Money.
Her insinuations about Jewish influence and Jewish capital would not have been out of place in 1930s Germany.
An absolute low for a party that for decades eagerly benefited from the Jewish vote.
When a former Flemish minister and current MP 'reveals' that Eurovision’s main sponsor “is a Jewish firm with lots of money. And as we all know money rules the world,” it exposes how rotten at its core this rhetoric remains in parts of high society.
