@dwallacewells@electricfelix True. But the fracking industry has successfully consolidated, and the surviving operators are highly profitable. Maybe we will see a similar development in AI.
@faustocoppi60 Today in Eurosport Germany they said it can't be that riders get 2 sticky bottles in a row, esp. when climbing. I get also more and more annoyed by this.
@KitsLore@KevinGVR_@tennisbish Rivalry between Puma and Adidas is legendary. Lots of other weird stories that kind. Adi und Rudolf Dassler were two brothers, founded one company and hated each other so much that Adi named his part Adidas and Rudolf went with Puma.
@IamScottQ@elonmusk He started also a new area in 2025: he demonstrated it's possible and makes sense to attack on Cipressa. So much more action. In the area of EPO it was almost impossible to make a solo at Poggio and we ended up in a mass sprint most often (fun fact: Zabel cheered to early 😭😂).
@MissEdelweiZ@HikingSchweiz I could have come home with similar photos from Alpstein. Everywhere it's crowded 😂. I am not a mountaineer at all but a friend lead me to Breithorn. Super easy and marvelous panorama but also up there all crowded 😂.
@SustainableTall Which is kind of schizophren. Isn't Denmark the country that destroyed almost all it forest and could use any available tree to plant? 😂
@tjalve@SustainableTall Good point. In Switzerland they planned a 100m high skyscraper (lots of promotions in 2022), then you heard less and less and finally they gave up the whole project due to these reasons + cost (and replaced it with some cheap concrete building with some wood outside).
