@UW_Archy269 Ravenna Park is a place where I - and many others in the neighborhood - go to exercise, relax, and enjoy nature. It became one of the oldest parks in Seattle by escaping the "logger's axe" in the late 1800s.

My key takeaway from @jason_p_deleon's 'The Land of Open Graves' was how impactful each death in the Sonoran Desert is. The loss and grief ripple out into their communities and into the world, calling for all of us to take action and make a change. @UW_Archy269 #UW_Archy269

@UW_Archy269 In Argentina, there is a significant population of Mothers and relatives who protest against archeologists providing evidence for their lost ones being dead. Their reburial does not provide as much closure when those at fault have yet to be held accountable.

@UW_Archy269 I'm a homebody, so my experience of being at home during the pandemic has not been too different from how I lived before (more extreme though, yes). I will say I feel more compelled to make sure my room feels good to be in by reorganizing or decluttering as needed.
