@karalou_ Doing these things allows your audience to interrogate the quality of the interpretations you are offering. That more people also often engage with the work means review can even be more robust than the blind reviews of journals where 2-3 reviewers determine whether to publish.

@karalou_ Some of the best public scholarship I've seen does a couple things. 1, scholars clearly lay out their expertise. 2, they clearly present their data (raw and visualizations), and 3, they respond to critiques/questions they receive.
