Yes, the guy in the middle, that's Germany legend Bastian Schweinsteiger celebrating with the Argentina fans. 🇦🇷🤝🇩🇪
"You beat Argentina three times in World Cups, but now we celebrate together", he wrote in a social media post.
Thomas Müller: "I cannot believe and understand how England approached this game after they're leading. I cannot understand how they invited Argentina to play one cross after the other in perfect crossing positions"
@iMiaSanMia Honestly I knew instantly then that Argentina was gonna win. I called it too, out loud to the people I was watching with.
This is classic Tuchel. I hate this shit with a burning fury. He lost Bayern vs Real Madrid literally this same way. He doesn't learn from his mistakes.
England players were shocked by Thomas Tuchel’s retreat that resulted in his team being dumped out of the World Cup by Argentina. Tuchel’s approach and his defensive changes – sending on Ezri Konsa, Dan Burn and Nico O’Reilly to try to see out a 1-0 win – surprised some players. There was belief within the squad that Argentina were there for the taking after Gordon's goal and that they could have been hit on the counter-attack with the introduction of more pace. There was surprise that it took Tuchel until four minutes after Argentina had gone ahead to finally throw on Marcus Rashford and Ivan Toney. [@Matt_Law_DT]
A meeting between DFB president Bernd Neuendorf, vice president Hans-Joachim Watzke, Jürgen Klopp and his agent Marc Kosicke took place on Friday in a New York hotel. The meeting lasted over 4 hours. The fundamental terms of a potential collaboration had already been roughly agreed before the meeting, but the DFB bosses still wanted to fly to the US to meet Klopp in person and not make such an important decision from distance
Klopp is now set to sign a contract as new Germany coach until 2030. But the deal isn't finalized yet. Klopp's contract with Red Bull still needs to be terminated in consultation with RB boss Oliver Mintzlaff. The latter is expected in New York in the coming days for negotiations
[@BILD]
Jürgen Klopp and the DFB have now reached an agreement in principle over a contract running until the end of the 2030 World Cup. Only final details remain to be resolved. Klopp's exit from Red Bull is expected to be finalised with Oliver Mintzlaff in New York by early next week at the latest. The DFB are planning to announce the agreement with Klopp today [@Plettigoal, @berger_pj]
In a game full of ego, Olise chose to stand by the people who stand by him ❤️
About a month ago, Olise deleted all his photos on Instagram. People thought he was putting pressure on Bayern Munich’s management after the media started talking about Real Madrid’s interest. But the story turned out to be something else entirely.
Olise has a private photographer named Florence Pernet who attends all his matches with him and takes special photos that are different from what the other journalists shoot. He always posts only her photos on his Instagram. The thing is, during the World Cup, the U.S. authorities refused her entry.
As a result, Olise decided to delete everything. In support of her, he chose not to post anything on his account except the photos she takes from the TV screen. If you open his account now, you’ll see that all the photos look like they were taken from a screen — not live shots.
She’s sitting at home, respected and well taken care of, watching him on the television and photographing the screen. And the player, in turn, completely ignores all the high-quality 4K photos and fancy professional shots that are taken for him — he only posts hers.
Honestly, after this whole situation, my respect and admiration for Olise has grown even more. Bless his parents for raising such a decent, grounded guy who never forgets anyone who works with him and always has their back ❤️

In his book 'Lewandowski. Prawdziwy', Robert Lewandowski's biographer, Sebastian Staszewski, talks about how Bayern's attempts to sign Erling Haaland behind Lewandowski's back hurt the Polish striker and affected his relationship with the club, which ultimately led to his departure:
"Hasan Salihamidžić called Haaland's agent. (...) Pini Zahavi (Lewandowski's agent), who had his spies, and Lewandowski quickly learned about it. Although it hurt Robert, he didn't seem to mind; he was still himself,, scoring goals. (...) In reality, however, he was having less and less fun playing at the Allianz Arena
"When, during a conversation in the lounge of a small airport for private jets, Zahavi asked Salihamidžić if it was true that Bayern wanted to buy Haaland, he denied it without batting an eye. Yet both Zahavi and Lewandowski knew about it, having met Haaland's father, Alf-Inge, at a nightclub, and thus learned that talks were already underway"
Lewandowski himself then said: "That was Bayern's biggest mistake. Their bosses lied to me. After so many years, I deserved honesty and respect. If they had simply told me their plans openly, I probably would have even advised them. But they didn't. And I was already far too old to be treated that way"
The biographer then says that when Lewandowski publicly said that he wanted to leave Bayern, "In an act of desperation, Bayern responded by offering him a one-year contract with an option for an additional year. Including bonuses, the deal would have earned him close to €30million per season."
Lewy stood firm and rejected the offer - an offer that would have satisfied him just a few months earlier. Bayern's flirtation with Haaland convinced him that something had come to an irreversible end. Haaland was not the only reason behind the separation, but he became the catalyst for Lewy's actions.
Haaland himself showed understanding for Lewandowski and said in a Viaplay documentary: "If you put yourself in Lewandowski's shoes - I don't even know how many goals he scored for the club or how many titles he won - you can't help but sympathize with him. I think it was a lack of respect toward him"
