@JHines10347508@techteach_csub I really love how engaging and interactive Prezi is. I think that there are elements incorporated for every type of learner. I think that Prezi works best with literature anyway.
@techteach_csub I prefer using Prezi because of its interactive features. This helps best when using graphic organizers and portraying something in a chronological order. It keeps the students engaged and help them understand phonics and vocabulary and include photos. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC12
@adorador_b@techteach_csub Kahoot is great and so fun for the students as well! I love the variety that it provides and how you can use it for fun topics such as holidays or movies to get to know them and also use them to test them on terms and concepts! #EDTE4100Fall2020TC11
@techteach_csub I use Poll Everywhere as exit tickets for the daily lesson; also for word maps. Other apps that I utilize are Pear Deck for during the lessons so I can put it in the middle of slides. Lastly, I use Google Forms for Summative Assessments at the end of a unit. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC11
@techteach_csub Quizlet is great for all types of learners because of the different forms of studying the application provides. Youtube helps to reinforce ideas. And Kahoot! adds that fun element to studying. These are the applications I have used in the classroom. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC10
@JessicaBerdejo@techteach_csub Using websites is so new to me and I haven't tried that out in the classroom yet. But I do find it interesting to use for tests and lessons to find all the information needed on a site page. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC9
@techteach_csub This sounds like a great way to enforce listening skills. They could watch a video and must locate the answer to that question before moving forward. Students could also use Google Forms as a fill in the blank study guide throughout the lesson. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC9
@maleah_brooks@techteach_csub I also use google slides as a welcome slide to show them our agenda and then anything that they have to put down for homework that day right at the start of class! :) #EDTE4100Fall2020TC8
@techteach_csub First I create the lesson using Google Slides so that they will have access to the lesson. The I implement discussion questions in that lesson. I also use other apps such as pear deck or a poll website to create word maps among the slides. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC8
@techteach_csub For younger students I love to use gonoodle. It is really fun and gets the kids up and moving and connect through different interactive and mindful based videos. For older students I use Kahoot!, they motivate each other and socialize through competition. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC7
@GRodrig13589554@techteach_csub Do you have a website that you use most to acquire worksheets? I recently used a worksheet for a life skills lesson on organizational skills and the 8th graders seemed to enjoy it more than the collaborative work they have had. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC7
@JHines10347508@techteach_csub I am definitely going to be using this in my classroom! This really teaches students how to self soothe and reflect on their current emotional state. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC6
@techteach_csub I would have an organizational skills lesson teaching students how to properly utilize Google Calendar to meet those needs. This will help students have a better schedule in terms of school and set clear boundaries between their school life and daily life. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC6
