@inthe250_ if they are “paid higher $” why are they making below minimum wage most days? this is today’s offer from WJ barely making them reach min wage, but sure! call it sheep food ryan!!
@Buzios16 Ahh yes no other company has ever tried to frame the narrative to make themselves look good right? Perhaps these numbers will help pant a picture of what the 13% increase looks like.
@madsnippetss@DustyRoseYYC Take time off whenever they want? That’s crazy I bet no flight attendant has ever missed a holiday at home, a birthday, wedding, funeral etc!!! Would love to hear the “and more” perks you speak of! Perhaps it includes working 14 hrs and being paid 7! aka the reality
@madsnippetss@DustyRoseYYC Free hotel stays? Would you rather crew sleep in a tent while they are away for work? Flights/Travel isn’t free, nor can many afford to travel with their below poverty pay. Shift trading / dropping is almost impossible and many need to work to keep a roof over their heads
For perspective for those that don’t understand why the offer was turned down. #westjetstrke Let’s not forget that companies love to frame the narrative to make unions / employees seem unreasonable.
