Kasozi said the redevelopment will include cold rooms for storing and selling premium meat cuts. The facility, originally established by the government in 1935 to supply hygienic meat to Kampala residents, was later privatised. The redevelopment comes amid continued concerns over Uganda's meat handling practices, with many butchers and abattoirs still relying on rudimentary slaughter and storage methods that compromise meat quality.

I went to KCB (@kcbbankug) to exchange my $100, the amount of paper work is overwhelming and the time wasted. Man we can do better. That process is supposed to be under 3 minutes but it took a whole 20 minutes, I left my car on and found the AC water had flooded the parking lot.
